Considering the value I would call CGC and get their recommendation.
I would not mail it in without crazy high insurance that I trusted.
CGC lists pricing structure based on valuation on their site.

just search eBay for: Maximum Carnage Acclaim
Also, don't forget about 1st appearance of Cletus Cassidy in ASM 344.
ASM345 and 359 are part of the storyline, can't leave those out.
And then you need ASM361 2nd print.
Only then will your 1st Carnage Collection be complete.

Am I reading this correctly that there is value in these Frozen comics? I bought the #5 shown new from Barnes & Noble for my daughter and yes it’s a newsstand edition. She and I have read it together repeatedly so it’s more of a Fine. Still any value?

I use Libra Office because it's free. It is like Excel with a shuffled toolbar and can saved and opened as an excel sheet.
After all the effort it took to get the initial collection into a spreadsheet, I do not want to do it again.
Color coding sounds nice, I may work on that with some rules.

When owning the comic is more important than having a new car, taking a vacation, etc. it doesn’t feel like a sacrifice at all; it’s a preference. I’ll gladly forego one luxury for another; in my case I like comics, so that’s what I get.
When I think sacrifice I consider it as giving something up or denying myself something I desire for someone else’s benefit; sacrifice goes beyond selfish preference. my comics can become the sacrifice if the need arises, but never the other way around.
For instance, if it were just myself to consider I would pass on vacations to buy comics and be content with that; I don’t value vacations in the traditional sense like most seem to. However, I have a wife and kids who do like vacations, so my “sacrifice” is leaving my future copy of FF1 in someone else’s hands whilst I spend freely on my family. I would never sacrifice my family for comics, comics aren’t important enough nor should they be.

Correction!  CBCS did not miss the tear seals.  They just use different terminology versus CGC.

Without looking up a bunch of data:
The 361 newsstand is about 80% of the value in this lot. Recent sales of 9.8 newsstands are well into the $400’s.
    If it’s a 9.8, you did fantastic
If it’s a 9.6, you broke even (if 362/363 are 9.8 you did well in this case)
If it’s a 9.4 or less you lost.
It looks great in the pics and could very well be a 9.8 if a press takes out the mild spine roll visible from the back cover.
It’s a gamble with these auctions and some guys/gals like that.
i subscribe to gocollect for recent sales covering more than just eBay and includes CBCS. It’s cheap and chock full of useful data and lets you check CGC census with one click.

I wasn’t going to say anymore, then I read this as you put three books in one Mylar. This is bad idea.
I bag and board all my books cheaply, even the drek. A basic comic bag and acid free backing board is about $0.12 per book when bought in 100pc packs. This is way better than packing books together in the best single Mylar. For flimsy and/or better-than-drek books I’ll double/triple board them. I also use silver age sz bags and boards on my bronze to current books. These basic bags will eventually ripple and yellow, but it’ll take about a decade in my experience and even then I’ve yet to see damage to the book appear.
The dictionary press idea won’t do anything in 24 hours, maybe a couple years... just don’t. There’s CGC’s pressing and other reputable and affordable options for professional pressing.
I think these 1st Carnage books will continue to modestly climb in value over the coming years and are worthy of proper storage. I like Carnage and personally own all these books you’ve mentioned, some in 9.8 slabs. You’ve at least got good taste.
ASM 364 is unrelated to 1st Carnage arc.
ASM 360 and 344 will make more sense as part of a 1st Carnage set. Look them up to see why.
You have the internet and amazing search engines at your disposal. Just start searching books and characters you like and learn all about them and what experienced collectors are saying.

I can understand CGC wanting the book back to assess. Standard 6-7 weeks to fix their mistake is insulting. This is legitimate customer returned rework that should be put to the front of the line and shipping covered both ways.

I like the fact that CBCS's slabs have very minimal (if any) blemishes ... like the rubs/scratches that are becoming common or newton rings.

Joosh reacted to awakeintheashes in Are any of the comics which I found worth a CGC slab or even has resale value or is this pretty much toilet paper?
None of these are worth grading in the condition they are in. I'd hold onto the Batman Beyond, Amazing Spider-Man #1 Pro-Action, and Sensational Spider-Man #21 (it's a newsstand). I don't believe those three comics are worth much at the moment in their condition, but I'd hold onto them in case something makes them spike.
