  1. You wake up as a kid, it's the Spring of 1940 and you are eager to read the new Batman #1 just released. You run to your local newspaper stand that has a couple and you buy it with all the money you've saved up from your parents allowance. After reading through an amazing story, you flip the book over to signify completing the read. You then see, "CUT OUT AND FRAME" and think....what an idea! I will 1940 CGC this back picture of my two favorite super hero's to save this moment in time. Who wants to cut out and frame this comic's back cover for all to see in 2019?

  16. I once submitted an ASM9 9.0 in an old case and it came back an 8.0. I cracked it out... sent it back and it came back and 8.5. At that point I just washed the comic and called it a loss. Still in disbelief this came back and 8.0... and a 8.5 when it looked like this after cracking it out of the 8.0 case.
  17. This is the issue I am expressing. I just feel like they utilize receiving time to sand bag turn times when they know they cannot commit to their expressed current windows. I would rather them be transparent with turn times than basically us throwing a hail mary to get our books back on the time window we paid. TLDR, sounds like CGC should hire more receiving associates to help process books in a timely manner. It shouldn't rely on the customer reaching out to them saying "Hey... did you get my $x,xxx book? It shows delivered a week ago and I just wanted to make sure everything is good....".
  18. I don't... if this is all it takes... I will buy a specialized stamp and punch the box a hundred times.
  19. I will only pay CCS for pressing if it's a sig book looking for a bump. All others are pre-pressed and ready for grading. No specialized requests associated with them.
