I know most of these people to opt for the Green to keep the grade high with it being Jerry Siegel. I knew I have seen a few that opted for the Blue, but so far this was the only quick example I could find.

Several have already mentioned INSURE. I personally use CIS, but whatever works for you. Short of that, another thing others have suggested a climate / humidity controlled fire/flood rated safe. Depending on financial situation could step up to Safe Room or Bunker. If truly blessed in financial situation you could always go full on BOMB SHELTER. Other than those remaining options would be sell or consign (as others have mentioned)

But non joking aside , most of these shop owner work so hard to run these stores because they love the hobby and want to share that as well as help support themselves. Which we know is not a super lucrative proposition . Then losing it all due to this is heartbreaking. I agree that something has got to be done to not only help those that have lost so much , and to not only stop , but prosecute them as well. Although I do realize nothing will ever truly replace the true loss in these situations..

Both of these and other really just fall into Opportunists. Just taking advantage of the situation for their own motives whatever those may be. Although as you stated those can vary widely. Still if things are actually set up , as in bricks placed, psychological tactics , such as cops actually causing damage to own vehicles, or breaking windows while not in uniform. All of this points toward even possible larger or deeper opportunist. Think larger scale land deals in communities lived their life worked and owned , but now will almost certainly have to sell or move/ evicted. Plus drop in property values. Even all of this is just a very small piece of the vast category of Opportunist. Still Political side and many more. Only time will really tell what all this really will bring. We can stand together and try to help those individuals as best we can and unite as many individuals as possible. Notice individuals ( nothing about class , race, job description as these really should not matter) I truly grieve the loss of so many local buisness Comic or otherwise. All of these losses are tragic . Most of this will hopefully help to deter such actions here in Florida. I know we will not be immune as with most of the world stupidity is rampant. Still the biggest issue is division and senseless loss of Life. Too many have their own agenda at heart. It is a sad state of affairs. This coupled with fear and confusion has just let things only decline. Until we truly become one United People will this ever completely stop and unfortunately history has no true road map for this to happen. Just an optimistic hope and dream. Yes here is a group shot of most. Only missing the 1st,4th stickered and millennium edition newsstand . Although I do have these as well this was just a picture of a set I sold a few months back as they were extras. Now as for Premium over Direct it can really vary by condition, how many bidders if auctioned , and other factors. Still for the most part of these Newsstand and Direct editions the 3rd print regular printed UPC does seem to command the most of them but that again can vary on occasions as there have been times the Second Print Stickered has also brought a decent premium, think mainly due to completist looking for barcode sets. Other than me and Kirk really haven't found as many really looking for these stickered upc editions so they have seemed to just not get as much attention. Although I have always liked them as they are part of the supply , demand , distribution story of the height of comic boom at the time. Even these still are only a portion of the #75's as there were still bagged, platinum, foreign, and other reprints( which that millennium falls into as well , that was just an extra I threw in on the lot of extras) just to show the remaining of these minus bagged, platinum, and foreign. Still the Newsstand on these as a whole do command a little premium. The third print printed UPC always holds a special place in my heart as I remember buying those on the shelves in packs at the local Walden Book stores

I know the feeling. I had several copies of these early demos and shared them with my daughter . When she was younger she would play them over and over until the tape was stretched and break. Eventually they released the Ghibli boxed set which I got for her, but she was disappointed that they were not translated quite the same and edited. Specifically Kiki's Delivery Service the cat GiGi... she enjoyed these all so much between the animation and storytelling it inspired her to pursue art. Over the years she has done so many things due to the inspiration of these films. One year she insisted on even making her own Birthday cake as few knew what Kiki's was much less make a themed cake featuring Gigi.. which of course the cake she had to include some of her other favorites including the Ash /Soot sprites and No Face from Spirited Away... now these have become very popular so she feels right at home. Speaking of which here is a mural my daughter painted on the wall of the office of the Gotham skyline which the pictures do not do Justice to the actual size/scale as this mural is big it covers almost the whole wall...

As far as streaming goes I currently use roku , Amazon Prime, Disney + , Netflix, as well. I do enjoy many of them , but for the last couple months I have been trying out bro-TV ( although I am sure at some point they will get shut down as it seems as though it is pirated) the price they offer and it is all channels including pay per view as well as all premium channels and dedicated 24/7 channels... WOW.. just insane.. I only signed up for the 3 months as it just seems to me that to have all this it must be pirated, but the Friend who showed me this has been using it for about a year now.. https://bro-tv.com/ And no I have no affiliations with them at all... as I said I am still paying for other streaming services as I have been apprehensive when my friend first signed up thinking that will get pulled. Although now almost to the end of my 3 months I may start canceling some of my other services..

Really like the Yet another great ! Most people do not know that the animation team that did The Last Unicorn later formed Ghibli . I really liked some of their earlier works Warriors of the Wind later retitled Naussica of the Valley of the Wind. Disney even originally did a test to see if this was viable for expansion by running Warriors on the Disney Channel in the late 80s and also released Preview copies to some of the Disney Stores to gauge interest although most were not fully release until DVD years later. Still really enjoy almost everything Ghibli released..

Although times are changing, this really isn't new. Disney has always strived to brand itself as Family child friendly entertainment. They have always kept a close eye on all of their content and revise/edit rereleased and redistributed any content they thought didn't quite meet their expectations. They constantly use other subsidiaries to distribute content outside of the Disney brand. Examples being things like Return to Oz through Anchor Bay, The Nightmare Before Christmas through Touchstone Home Videos / Buena Vista Home Video . Buena Vista being one of their main " Go To" for even some off the older classic titles (Western Theater- Hopalong Cassidy , 50's Theater) but they have also distributed through Hollywood Pictures Home Videos( also Buena Vista AKA Disney just not the Family Children Brand) and this also says " Song of the South was not released for home video, but they did release it in the UK not in the US , although they did release a sales Screener/ Preview that had it on there just not in its entirety. Still from things like revising the Little Mermaid Cover from "Phallic " looking cover art , deleted scenes from The Rescuers that contained nude images slipped in During production that not only made it to theaters, but the first home release as well. Also can forget their educational line including Hitlers Children to these gems They are always trying to clean their image..The Truth is they are just like the rest of us. Dont get me wrong I have always had an special place for Disney which can be seen by my massive collection of almost every thing they have released. ( my very own unedited Disney ++) This is just one wall of an entire Disney Room in catalog order All in their original unedited glory many of which are preview/ screener copies as well as first release.

Can definitely understand the 9.6-9.8 as I think most of us have had that 9.6 that looked 9.8 and some 9.8's that looked 9.6 , but if it did come back 9.9 or 10.

Really surprised that they have almost made it.. between this and the Honus Wagner at least these two card references weren't lost on me. Still never owned a Wagner and only reason I have the MTG was due to purchases / trades of a TON of packs and boxes from 1993 - 1996.. One of the few really big returns from almost no investment. I am still shocked at the prices some of these cards command.. Back to the topic though, i would agree that even given time and most things being equal (grade , provenance, etc) the Action #1 will still hold the Higher Value as several have stated. It has become such a top of the market collectible value wise that it would take something extraordinary to upset it from that top spot. Examples being a bunch of high grade copies all being found a once, or a fake being graded as real which would really tank the company who did, it as well as shake a lot of faith in the upper tier as well. That said this whole CPR deal is another way to see high grade books command a lower selling point , grade for grade with other comparables. Too many books with a high grade " new to market " have turned out to be previously sold copies that have been CPR without disclosure.
