  1. We are splitting hairs here. Which side do you land on?
  2. Guess since the Newsstand thread got closed the post counts had to go somewhere.. Not a hair in the world...
  3. I would agree that it is what should be the case with the Newton Rings and it very well may have been. I can only state what I observed. To me the hair appeared to be against the book and that the air was between the inner and outer case. I know that is not the way that these Rings should appear or that air should just get trapped between the two layers with out something separating them, but in this case it was the way it presented. It really looked as though the inner sheet had been warped or was misaligned creating these areas of Newton Rings. I will definitely concede that I could be wrong, but it was also the first time I had a hair that size and that bad of a case of Newton Rings appear.
  4. Agree with this as it was my first thought. Definitely any 11, that said I know there are several books that have been chased , but are now assumed never produced. Right off the top of my head. Adventures of Superman #499 second print. Action Comics #683 third print And several gaps in the DC Universe Logo search that has been going on for years. The ones that there have been no copies found yet are : Action Comics # 685,687-694,711,716,717,719-721 Adventures Superman # 500-507, 523,533,534 Animaniacs # 3, 8, 11-14,17 Aquaman # 2,10-20 Azrael # 17,18,21 Batman # 513,525,528,530 Batman Annual #14-19 Batman Adventures # 19-32, 34 Batman & Robin Adventures # 2,5,6 Batman: Shadow of the Bat # 26-28,31-34,36,37,39-47,50,51 Catwoman # 8,10,14,16,20-30,33-35 Detective Comics # 692,693 Flash # 103,105-108,111-113 Green Lantern #37-46,57,60,69,71-74,78 Guy Gardner # 18-25 Impulse #4-9,11-13 Justice League International # 64-66 Justice League of America # 70-83, 94, 96,100-106 , 109-111 Justice League Task Force # 8-16, 18, 21, 24-31 Legionnaires # 11,13,15,17,18,20,23,24,27,28,30-32 Looney Tunes # 7, 9-11 Power of Shazam # 5-11,13-15,18 Robin #10, 22 -24 , 26, 29 Robin Annual #1 Steel #16, 18-22, 25-27,30 Superboy #10, 17-19, 21,22,25-28 ,31 Supergirl (1996) #1 Superman # 75-76, 78-84 ,107, 110-112 Superman Annual # 7 Superman Man Steel # 21-28, 39, 51, 54-56 Superman: The Man Of Tomorrow # 2-4 Wonder Woman # 83 , 94, 99, 100, 102- 105
  5. Congrats on the reholder and it looks SWEET! I am curious if the reholder is in a normal thickness holder or if they used the thicker case?
  6. To me the hair looked as if it was against the book. The Newton Rings were not where the hair was, however to me it looked as though the Newton Rings were where the inner and outer walls met, but there seemed to be a pocket of air between the inner and outer walls keeping the area above the hair from showing Rings. When I had this books I looked over it many times and it always appeared to me that the hair was not between the inner and outer, but on the book.
  7. And just to help show how bad they really were.. What it looked like when I received it .
  8. Originally I had this book. The hair appeared to be against the book itself. I know their claim about Newton Rings, and you are correct about it appearing that there was a line where there were non around the hair, but the rings were bad on this one except where the hair was. I did sell this book to Iconic1 and he sent it in for reholder. Looks way better!
  9. Vfactor1 is correct. CGC does note some of them, but so far they only note ones that have added differences, i.e. Price , Ads , Indica, Date, etc.
  10. I really hope they get this one right for you. I know , as you stated, this is the third time around. It does start to feel like your just banging your head against a wall.
  11. These actually came from the Funeral for a Friend Collector's Set. Which can still be found relatively cheap, but as Brandon stated it's the High grade that is harder to come by , due to being sold and wrapped as they were plus all have the black surround on the covers.
  12. Here he showed all 10's graded. It was pretty low on the list of total. It was higher for Grim Fairy Tales , Lady Death , and several Aspen Titles( God is Dead), Crossed 100 , Spider - Man 1 , Turner Fathom.
  13. There was a joke running in another thread that the low grades would sell for higher as they are rare. Even that some might crack out their 10's and purposely damage and regrade..
  14. I do believe that he is merely pointing out the usage of "over" and lack of sentence structure.
  15. I completely agree, but when you see things like this. Or this It is not hard to see that clearly that is something along the lines of a drug transaction, money laundering, etc activity going on.. Which may be the case with some of these other than just shooting for the moon with a crazy dream of a price..
  16. Funny though. See a huge spike for The Crossed..Which most of those came from that direct to CGC and the Alan Moore CGC SS.
