Mail call. Non "Collector's Edition " Another towards my Superman Newsstand run.

Couldn't pass this up for $27.49.

These interesting enough both have Star Stamps , but no MJI.

For $27.49 I couldn't pass it up.

These are more of a back in my collection as they just made it back from CGC today from the Terry Austin signing. 3 will have to go back due to issues. Luckily the book I cared the most about went through perfectly and I could not be happier! Now the others. This has a bubble/debris on back inner well that is casing a dimple on the book. the. These two. One is a Double Cover they missed (no excuse it was clearly marked) The other is signed on interior page by Terry Austin and John Byrne. (Again was clearly marked ) thought it would be noted writing and get the hybrid Green/Yellow. you can see the way that I marked these and pictures of the interior signatures / double cover here.

I sent in 4 books to the Terry Austin in house signing 3 of which will have to make a return trip. Two of those I had signed by John Byrne (at different cons. (Can not remember which as I have been to so many and several I have had John Byrne sign when I could) This is one. (Has to go back for bubble/debris on inner well back .) The other was signed on interior page ( by both John Byrne and Terry Austin, but they failed to even mention "writing" on the pages . (The other copy I sent at the same time looks the same, but had a double cover ) you can see the last book and the whole story /submission here.

Sent in 4 for the Terry Austin signing. 3 will have to go back, but here is the only one that didn't have any issues and could not be any happier with it. one of the others that has to go back. you can see the issues with the others here..

So more Defoe?

Got my Terry Austin books back from CGC today. I sent 4 of those 3 will have to go back. You can see all the issues and whole submission here. That said. One has a bubble/debris in the back inner well that presses into the book and appears to have caused a dimple. Two are hard to distinguish between so both will have to go back. One is signed on the interior by Terry Austin and John Byrne no note of writing. Kinda thought it would get the Hybrid Green/Yellow. The other is a Double Cover. No note of it or grades of interior/ outer cover. and SOOO glad this one didn't have any isses !

Just got my Terry Austin books back. I sent in 4 books. 3 will have to make a return trip. This one has either a bubble in the inner well or some debris has and is now causing a dimple on the back . Hopefully they will press this issue back out. close ups. the next two : One has Terry Austin and John Byrne signatures on the first inside page (I figured they would make a notation of this. I made sure to mention it. I even thought they may give it the Green/ Yellow label due to it. The other is a Double Cover. Obviously they missed it as there is no mention nor inner/ outer cover grades. You can see the one success and how I originally marked these so there is not excuse for them missing these. Next two I now have no real way of telling them apart so unfortunately they will both have to go back. One is signed on interior page by both Terry Austin and John Byrne. (Really though this would at least get the notation of writing on interior page and possible Green / Yellow label. ) would still take the hybrid label if they would just note that there is at least writing or signatures . The other is a Double Cover. No mention. No separate inner outer cover grades. So again both of these and the other will have to make a return trip.. so out of 4 of them 3 will have to go back. Will be contacting them in the next couple days for the label and Mechanical Error. I will update through this process.

Next is the John Byrne cover signed book. It came back a I had hoped it would be higher , but do see why they could give it this grade. That said the back of the book it appears to be either a issue with the inner well or the got debris inside which is causing a bubble around it and looks like it has dented the book so it will have to go back. Hopefully they will be able to press that issue out ( maybe even an upgrade ) Close ups.

Ok. These have made it back. Really happy with the Jerry Siegel book.
