Any change for you? My remarque (no pressing) book has been G/E/I for 2 weeks.
None. That boat's motor died and is adrift in a current
I inquired about when my (Silvestri remarque, no pressing) stuck in G/E/I order would ship, below is the response:
" Thank you for your email, this private signing took place on 9/14/21 and this is when the 6-week turnaround time begins, the submission is currently in the Grading room being graded. It should be completed approximately by the end of the month. "
Inquired again today... response:
The invoice is still finishing up. For the private signings, the turnaround time doesn't start until the book is signed/sketched/ In this case, that occurred on 9-14 and then it is an approximate 6-8 weeks from that date. Your order should be finishing up in the next week or so.
11/12/2021 response:
It does appear that your invoice is past due. I will send a message down to have them locate and rush the order.
Thanksgiving Eve response (11/24/2021):
We are still actively searching for this submission.

For what seemed like 2 - 3 weeks at least. One of my in house signature series just moved from GEI to Grading/QC. Now let's see how long this takes.
Which artist? I've got Lee, Young, Silvestri, Sienkiewicz all with no moment. 😥

So about these sweet window bags you sell, and require, for signings... Why are most (if not all) artists removing the books from said required bags for the in house signings?

Not to mention the giant thigh & arthritic knobbly knee PI is standing astride.
Good catch, that's the one thing I missed when I originally posted this cover!

Hello,
I just received a batch of books and most of the cases look defective. This is on the side opposite the staples and the molded "tab". There appears to be an internal crack as shown in the 2 pics. I attached a pic of a slab without the issue. Has anyone else had this issue? Is this considered acceptable? There was no shipping damage to the box either. I am planning to ask for the ones to be re-slabbed. These are 9.8 books and I want the slabs to be 9.8 as well.
I haven't had this issue, and I would guess CGC will consider this unacceptable and reslab for you... but honestly if that's the only issue I'd vote save yourself the time and headache and just keep them as is.
Since you've got multiple copies I assume you want to flip. I doubt most buyers would have an issue with this as long as it's pictured/disclosed prior to sale.
I could be very wrong, but my

If you have no issues with comic book dealers, but despise comic book flippers, are you being logical?

Can I send in my comic that was graded and slabbed by CBCS and send it into CGC and have them reholder it and honor the grade? Or will they have to re-grade it as well?
They will not honor the grade.
CGC will have to "re-grade" it themselves. (Grade could go up, down, or remain the same)

You don't need a good reason to post a Beatles lyric,
Yes, yes you do. Unfortunately (fortunately really) there is never a good reason to quote Beatles lyrics.
