  1. False how? Higher tiers have faster turnaround times. Higher tiers aren't based on the value of the comic they're based on how much you're willing to pay for grading.
  2. I'm terrible with low grades, but I'd say you're in the 3-4 range at best as is. If submitting yes I'd definitely press. After press if you get rid of all the waves I'd suspect 8.5, at best. Spine ticks, corner blunting and possibly some color break along the top cover. (Assuming no staining whatsoever) Regarding the sigs I personally love this cover and don't care for sigs on it, no matter the placement. That being said if its for your PC and you want Frank Miller yes, go for the green/yellow.
  3. You got incredibly lucky. DO NOT expect this as the norm, prepare yourself for months and months of waiting on future submissions. And regarding pressing your 9.8's, don't waste your money. Is it possible you'd bump to 9.9, sure. Is it at all likely, no, not at all. Be happy with 9.8, it's essentially the best grade you're gonna get ever.
  4. Have you been charged, or are you just looking at your printed submission form? If it's the latter the form won't reflect your credit. Your credit would be applied when they process your order and charge your card. If they've already charged you and did not apply the credit you will need to call or email customer service.
  5. Thats what she said. Not my best work, but not much to work with in this thread...
  6. My Silvestri remarque is still sitting at G/E/I.
  7. Your raw copy looks great for so having stayed with you since you were a kid! Took me a minute to find the sneaky Buscema sig on the graded copy, lol. Gnarly books, thanks for sharing!
  8. I want to see the books from your personal collection that you had slabbed/graded solely to keep in your personal collection. Preferably for sentiment because you love it, regardless of any monetary value. Can they be high value keys? Sure. Can they be drek? Sure. If so inclined share your story/reasoning. Here's one of mine, pulled from a dank closet and gifted to me. One of my earlier books when I was starting to show interest in the hobby. "You're interested in comics? Check this out..." WELL READ and stayed with me raw for so many years, the grade didn't matter:
  9. @Joe Peck Slab whatever you want, for whatever reason you want. Your money, your problem, your gain or loss. Doesn't matter what anyone else thinks about it. That being said: Still wise to lower your expectations when it comes to grading. Definitely listen to the veterans who have submitted countless books and honed their amateur grading skills. Good luck.
