    I discovered Marvel in the summer of ‘67 so I was very excited for the premiere of the Spidey and FF cartoons. I’m thrilled to finally own this unexpected find in the wild today.

    Nothing special other than it’s a silver age story that features the first Ross Andru artwork on Spider-Man. I definitely need to upgrade my copy of this issue.

    Here are my DD issues 31-40 and King Size Special 1. This is the sweet spot where I started collecting Marvel books. The annual was my first DD off the rack purchase and 33 was my first 12 cent issue.

    I have a fondness for the Hanna-Barbera cartoons I watched as a youngster in the 60s. Queek Straw is my favourite.

    Supes had some classic stories in the 140s. Issue 149 is probably my favourite DC comic.
