BATS 227 CGC 9.2 OW sold within six hours of listing. nice sale. that poor book is probably already under 1,000 pounds of pressure. i think my sale pushed the envelope for buyers to pay more for 227, well that and the buyer that paid $750 for rocketeers CGC 9.0. the book on CL will break a thousand easily.

I think CGC 9.4 are priced out for most buyers, but i'm guessing $1400-$1500.

WoW. i just saw the hammer price on the tec 411. it almost reached my CGC SS 9.0 price. the book is hot.

Looks like the market is only for cgc 9.0 and up. Were you happy with the hammer price?

who's to say that CGC just didn't get the book back and gave it the correct label, without having to find a 9.8 first print for the winning bidder.

...it's cause you don't double box,....I'm just saying,... buyer said box was in pristine condition. so the cracks must have happened at CGC to me. i didn't see them when i rec'd the book. buyer did say that he has OCD tho.

Looks like i jinxed myself with the packaging post, buyer of the 'tec 411 said the slab has two small cracks on the slab. Wanted $40 for reholdering, i told him $12, since i'm not resposible for USPS delivery.
