  1. I didn’t say it was anyone’s fault. Or if anything, it’s everyone’s fault. Fans for paying, creators for charging, cons for allowing it, etc. My statement wasn’t about blame, it was simply a statement of opinion that unless the people buying don’t buy, it won’t change. If they stop buying, then it is up to the creators to determine the best way forward and then back to the consumer to decide whether that way works. I think the two tier thing is ridiculous but hey I’m part of the problem because I do pay the costs.
  2. I think you missed my point. My point has nothing to do with special features, etc. it was more an example of things that used to be free or all cost the same and then changed. And Yes I do get your point on two tier etc....that’s not the point I was making... the point I’m making is that as much as it sucks, until people refuse to pay it, it will continue to happen....whether right or wrong. And unfortunately I don’t see people stopping paying it anytime soon because as you pointed out, we are addicted.
  3. Time to grow up... not make fake accounts to attack or troll people especially when you acknowledge who you are.
  4. Hence the word almost. I was simply disagreeing with the previous poster that it was an incorrect belief in all circumstances, but then I realized I misread his original intent. I enjoyed the points you made Earlier. I don’t disagree with you. Unfortunately, until most people are willing to not pay it much like fees with Ticket Master, charging more for 3D movies, Paying higher fees for Disney World etc, we are going to keep seeing them. It’s a bit sad, but as you said, we are addicts.
  5. What you say is true but there are signatures that do add almost universally to book values. Stan Lee, Frank Miller are two examples right off the top. Grade is always king though for sure.
  6. Do you have any references? Not trying to be a jerk, but you have only posted 10 times.
  7. I would assume so. The $100 and $75 looks to cover the signing fee, slabbing cost, etc. $45 is if you pay on your account.
  8. See now I’m starting to question who is trolling and who can’t figure out the original post was 3 years ago and none of this is currently for sale
  9. Probably assume CGC reps were active on the forums outside of moderators
  10. Very Nice. I got a Raw Wolverine 66 Turner Sketch that looks pretty damn good from the pic. Fantastic Realms (the seller) said that it was never read, etc and honestly even though it is pics, looks to be a min 9.6 and maybe a 9.8. Saved $90 on it. Getting Mark Millar sig on it when I'm at C2E2 and then slabbing and keeping fingers crossed. Supposedly actual scan of the comic. Tried several Offers But they had the auto decline set high. Got my final bounce at only like 10% off the price of the book so just bought it now.
  11. Amazing prices! It's almost as if we've entered a time machine and gone back to 2015!
  12. I know the feeling. Been going back and forth between Sterenko and Allred Covers. I like Allred's cover better but I don't have a Sterenko autographed book. @Rich_Henn Can we request a signature on a book? For example, could we request Sterenko on the Allred cover?
  13. Rich - Are there signature costs on top of the $175? Or is that including the signatures? Assuming it is the former but want to be sure. Also do you have run counts for each variant?
  14. Isn't that essentially what DScott's guys do? Miller, Kubert, Zdarksy, etc. When I did my Miller signing last year at C2E2, Doug was the one who cracked it, submitted etc. at C2E2.
  15. Just FYI, this is the sales section. There is a separate wanted to buy section. Mods will most likely remove this post.
  16. Ah ok. I’ll see if the signed ever comes up. Wanted this puppy last year when I got Miller’s auto but unfortunately didn’t find it until after
