Yes, time payments are a possibility within reasonable limits.

Gang, the book is still available and I've answered all PMs. I'm going to close this thread to move the book elsewhere (and raise the price lol to fall in line with the rest of the market ) but you can still reach me if you're interested and will honor my $45,000 price here.

    Thanks for all your inquiries.

    Good luck!

This book is priced right. Trying to quote the GPA of 33K makes no sense to me. Most who follow AF15 closely keep track of most of the non GPA sales and Roy is as astute as they come so trying to lowball an offer based off of that GPA sale of a copy with MC and far less eye appeal is laughable. I think @Jaydogrules once said if you ever to buy an AF at GPA, you will never own one. In 6 months, people will be wishing they had bought this copy for the asking price. AF 15 may be in a slight decline now, but as time has shown, hang onto your copy for 6-12 months and you will be ahead. The choppy waters don’t usually last long with this book.

Price seems fair.  Unfortunately even a fair price is too pricey for me :-(

  3. Books shipped and arrived as expected.  He got an invoice and books to me fast when i asked due to C2E2.  One of the comics graded above what he specified, which made me very happy.  Overall, great guy to deal with.  Would buy again

  4. Did a Cash/Slab trade with Dave.  Easy transaction.  He actually gave me time to find the last part of the trade/cash as some other stuff fell through.  Book was in great condition as he described.  Would buy/deal with again anytime.

Check out Rich's first post in this thread.  The answer to your question is there.

But that is ALL the way on page 1.   You can see the bind I'm in.   ;-)

    Thanks!  Should have checked there.

    Thanks guys.

I am going to bump this thread as I have a few people interested but people seem fixated on the last GPA sale of $33K. As most people know, copies without chipping now fetch a premium, as do copies with exceptional eye appeal.

That $33K copy was a copy with lots of chipping and poor eye appeal. You're just not going to get a premium looking copy like that for that GPA low price.

My copy looks like a $120K 7.0 copy from the front.

To you give you guys a better understanding of the market, someone who was inquiring about my copy recently just bought a CGC 5.5 that is not as nice looking as my copy and they paid $54K for it. Between the current market trends and Overstreet coming out with it's new Guide in July I might just have to raise the price on my copy. lol

    Message me with any interest.

Can you do time payments... for the next 10 years?  ;-)

That video was a snapshot. We don't know what is going on, other than he had a bad day. He could be perfectly fine, but just came back from his bout with pneumonia too soon.

He could also be completely miserable and in pain.  As you said, we don't know.

Back to my pondering...I would probably assume in general that a private signing is far easier on the artist/celebrity than a booth.  The ability to stop and take breaks and be in a comfortable setting I would assume is easier on them physically and mentally... regardless of age.   Not having to keep a line moving, I'd think makes life easier.

I think my other thread got pulled because I had posted some copper/modern books in the GSB forum. I'm not exactly sure why the whole thread was pulled instead of deleting some of the modern books or without warning but either way I'm restarting this thread minus the copper/modern books. I hope that resolves the issue. I will post the copper/modern books in the copper section later. Here goes...

I will be selling some awesome comics in order to raise some money for other projects. The comics come from a smoke-free home, and have not been pressed or otherwise altered while in my possession. I am not the OO of any these books. My grades are best estimates.

USPS Priority Mail shipping will be $8 for 1-2 raw comics (flat rate envelope), and $13 for 3+ raw comics or 1+ slab (box). For any purchases over $100 please add $3 for signature confirmation. Insurance is optional. Only shipping to USA as of now.

Payment expected within 24 hours of invoice via Paypal. If you live in the Bay Area then pick-up may be possible. Returns accepted for raw comics if notified within 3 days of item receipt. No returns on slabs.

Not accepting any offers from folks on the probation/HOS list. First :takeit:wins. Please contact me for any questions.

Yeah I've noticed they tend to pull and not give any feedback on the why... it's rather frustrating...never seen a moderated board do that before, but here we are.

The GLOD is not as bad for books that are well known, desirable, and incapable of being SS'd - like the Siegel and Kirby signed reprints and books like the Campbell and Lee Gen 13 inserts.

Feh... If the owner or facilitator can't figure out a way to go back in time and get the signature witnessed then I don't believe it is real.  How dare they stop signing or pass before CGC's existence.  The nerve of some people.  ;-)
