Pay attention and learn. If you want to scam a bit on eBay and still have great reviews they show how it's done. Hype books with near meaningless terms like "near perfect" . Near perfect isn't a grade, there is no scale or reference for it. Offer other "details" like Page Quality, restoration and staple attachment so it LOOKS like you are providing lots of detailed information about the book. Do a lot of no reserve, low starting bid auctions so people feel like they are getting bargains. Offer time payments. Take returns cheerfully for 30 days.
Plenty of experienced collectors and dealers buy comics on eBay. But eBay is also where all the newbies shop. A lot of them don't know 5.0 from 8.0. So build your business around those less knowledgeable collectors and if someone buys a book that knows it's not as nice as you said you give their money back promptly and smile. Your feedback stays at or near 100%, you get top rated seller status from eBay.How sadly true it is. That being said I feel dirty now and want to shower.

Honestly though, I'm not sure it is worth it. The signatures are coming back worse and worse now. If you really want a Stan sig, you might be better off selling the Raw book and buying a SS version already graded with better signature.

Oh wow... So this guy is a freaking scumbag. Good to know. I wasn't going to buy from him once I saw the picks. He had a Hulk 180 raw that was "near Perfect" that had CB spine ticks all up and down the spine.... bids were at $600 for it!

sigh....just sigh. If this is near perfect, I’ll wonder what he considers perfect? Similar description on a lot of raw comics that just really leave a bad taste in my mouth.

Missing tattoos still get a blue label. It's just noted on the slab "Tattoos missing" or something like that.
Really? I could swear I've seen some green labeled for that reason. Well even more reason to do so. Might not fetch full value but should still be valuable.

My original owner copy (at least a 9.6) has the Tattooz insert, but holding up the insert to the light, there are no Tattooz inside. Definitely a manufacturing error, because as a teen I wouldn't have extracted them, and there is no evidence of tampering to the insert. So, in terms of getting a blue label, and assume I don't want to harvest a Tattooz insert from another book extract the original insert, replace it with the harvest insert, etc. -- am I out of luck?
I'd still get it slabbed. Sure it might come back a Green, but in the end the grader will make the decision.

My heart wants it but my bank account says No.....Nice looking .5 that's for sure GLWS Jared!
Same problem. There are two books on this board I really want (not counting the 9.8 Hulk 181 that is way out of my bank account)... sigh. Need some of my new books to get back so I can liquidate and buy some new stuff.
