I Thought that was the case, but I got the impression, that some board members were not aware of this. I just wanted to make sure I hadn't lost my mind.RickIs the batman collection you have recently posted, the one you are putting together for a client?
Mike
hello all...
yes, they are...he is a good friend, best customer (our arrangements, due to his intial limited funds, are that I purchase, and he gets at my cost +5% "commission" for the effort and the financing...so basically, he is getting at my real world cost)...however, payments have been a little slow, so worse case scenario is that I "inherit" the collection (which I would be pleased to do, now that I have asssembled, but I already completed a batman run in the 90's, so I don't have a great desire to keep...part of the joy for me, is the collecting, but I like new challenges, which is why I won't go after Action, but would superman)...personally, I am working on the Tec's 27-53, and about 20 other issues I like (have not started them yet, except for 2 I am getting from board member cgcmint)...
so, if for some reason Bob has to bail (which, for the record, I don't anticipate), I will either keep the run, or sell it (a tough decision no doubt)

BTW what a great run.

All I can say is wow. I've never even seen any of these magazines before. To see them in such nice shape is unreal.
I second that!

I am looking for Action Comics Christmas covers #93 #105 #117Thanks! I really love that action coverAre you working on Christmas covers? I am too, and am eagerly awaiting a Comic Cavalcade #19 in the mail
What grade? I know SoCalComics had a nice looking (but lower grade due to a chip out of the bottom of the front cover) copy of #93.
I need a bare minimum 4.0 Higher would be better.
Thanks for the concern,
Mike

Nice pick-up!Hooray! I just got this in today, an ebay win from last week. In my "Candyland" cover/ story collection I thought this would be the last one, the final thorn in my side, but Hooray! Here it is! Its a super nice VG but has the pencil in the logo , which thankfully is not pen! The pages are white-off white and bouncy. For a second, I thought It was a Christmas cover, and was wondering how I missed that on ebay. Still, I think, I would like this issue for my collection someday.

Very nice book! Here's book #2 from the Big Apple National show. Power Comics #3 with cover by L.B. Cole. I consider this cover to be one of L.B. Cole's top 5 or 10 covers along with Mask 1, 2, Captain Flight #11, Contact #12, Blue Bolt 111 and 113, and a few others. Thanks to Motor City Comics for this book. I've been wanting a copy of this book since the mid-90s when I saw the cover in the Nick Kronfeld and Dark Adventure auctions in CBG. I finally found a nice copy that was reasonably priced. This copy perfectly matches my Mask 1 and 2 and Contact Comics 12, since all of them are in about VG or VG+. This copy has some edge chipping on the right front cover (due to slight overhang) and a small piece out of the bottom back cover. You don't see one of these every day.

Very interesting topic. I just saw a program on A&E which told the story of Siegel and Schuster's start in the comics industry. It was much earlier than Action 1

The condition of that book is amazing.
