    i would think a 3.5 to a 4.0, cover looks great!, is the rubber band now a part of the page that can't be removed? May damage the issue trying, maybe leave it where it is.

    It is my opinion that it was done during production, i don't believe it was trimmed. These are getting harder and harder to come by. Nice find!

    4.5 HERE, I DON'T THINK THE CHIPPING IS THAT BAD, IT WAS COMMON AMONG THE EARLY MARVELS FROM THE 60'S, IT IS WHAT IT IS, NICE BOOK!

    2.0 here, i have likewise seen books that hit a 2.5 with a similar chunk missing, but with the staining, i think a 2.0 seems right. Please share the grade eventually! Thanks!

    I was at an 8.5 but after resding the comments, I believe a 9.0 is quite fair! Beautiful silver age! I would be thrilled to own it!

    Hard to tell without a picture of the back cover, but i would think from the front a 5.0 if the back is ok. it would really be wise to upload a picture of the back cover as well.

    i was at a 2.0, but it may make a 2.5, I can't see it going higher with the water ring,staples, and the tape pulls, still a nice book, and a great read to boot!
