2.0 here. Still a Very nice book! Presents well.

If the rest of the book looks the same... 4.5-5.0? More scans would be helpful...

I would say a 7.0 but with a press, maybe an 8?

I think a 6.0 looks right. Nice book! I believe there is some darkening of the staples from the pics, Any rust showing? If not, maybe a grade higher.

Does the stain hit the first page as well?

IMO, the discoloration on the "e" seems to be on the "T" to the upper left as well. I think a 7.5 would be accurate if this is a stain as the red seems to be showing on the interior of the front cover as well. Book has a great look to it.

Staples are original, we dug this out and it hadn't seen the light of day for 50 years. we had about 400 books that were untouched

I HAVE A CAPTAIN FLIGHT 11 THAT I HAD GRADED ABOUT 10 YEARS AGO BY A COMPETITOR OF CGC. IT IS SLABBED AND DOESN'T SCAN REAL WELL IN MY JUNKY SCANNER. I HAVE INCLUDED SEVERAL PICS AND HOPE THEY SHOW THE CONDITION WELL ENOUGH. I WAS WONDERING IF I SHOULD CRACK THIS OPEN AND SEE WHAT CGC WOULD GIVE IT. IT IS NOT RESTORED, WE PULLED ALL THE BOOKS OUT OF A BASEMENT THAT HADN'T BEEN ENTERED SINCE THE EARLY 50'S. THE BOOK DID HAVE SOME RUST SHOWING ON THE STAPLES BUT IT HAD NOT BLED IN ON THE PAGES. BOOK IS TIGHT WITH ALL PAGES FIRMLY ATTACHED. PAGE COLOR IS LISTED AS CREAM TO WHITE. ANY THOUGHTS WOULD BE APPRECIATED. THANKS

The back cover doesn't look to bad on the actual book. it doesn't appear to have any water damage or any moisture damage. i noticed the ripples on the scanner but idk. thanks all!

This has a small chunk missing from the back reading edge about 2 inches down from the top and a few spine ticks. Thanks in advance for any opinions.

I bet the coffee table isn't worth what the book is, can't imagine there are many signed copies out there. I would love to know as well! Sweet book!

No real surprises here, including the Marvel Chipping on the right reading edge as you should see best on the third picture. All pages and covers are secure. Thank you in advance for any input!

This one has a 1 inch spine split at the bottom and the cover is detached at the bottom staple. centerfold and all other pages are firmly attached. There is a pen mark in the middle of the flying creatures right wing. Thank you in advance, I am not sure if this is worth getting slabbed.

I would hope this book wouldn't be below a 6.5, condition is great except for the stain.
