What's the deal with the preview in San Diego Comic Con Comics #4? Is Thrawn in the Heir to the Empire preview?
Edit: looks like a Han/Chewie story.

Color me shocked and quoted. Found a comicchron source for the one-shot dating it to November 2001:
https://www.comichron.com/monthlycomicssales/2001/2001-11.html
And Wookiepedia has the one-shot coming out on March 13, 2002 (https://starwars.fandom.com/wiki/Star_Wars:_Jango_Fett) vs. April 24, 2002 for Attack of the Clones #1 (https://starwars.fandom.com/wiki/Star_Wars:_Episode_II_—_Attack_of_the_Clones_1).
I'm kicking myself for not picking up these one-shots now. I feel like I've seen them everywhere and then can't find them.

So is the Ron Marz Jango Fett one-shot really his first appearance? I see CGC has its release date as 1/2002, beating Attack of the Clones #1 by 3 months, but that's all the evidence I can find.

This is just one an example but will these comic packs be worth anything or are they mostly reprints? I didn't know they even existed and just curious if anyone keeps up with these.
I love these things, probably have about 50. Hard to come by several of them, especially that open seasons one.

I could kick myself for not buying more of the DV 3 Green 3rd print. I thought it was such a nice cover I should have bought more.
I bought 10 or so, slowly sold them for 30 or so until the last couple. Don't kick yourself.

very cool.
not a big deal, but maybe there is a better thread to post these?
This thread is generally dealing with trending comic sales on ebay. Unless this specific art indicates something about a trend related to a specific comic that I missed. Perhaps it just needs more context.
Just sharing art from a modern book that's pretty darn hot on ebay.
I guess I should have just made a don't tell hector post instead.

Crazy that a 2,500 SW copy is very rare. We have lots of store variants that are lower these days. I wonder if we will say the same thing about those in 20 years. Yes, I realize SW books cross two collecting bases.
Yeah, I would have thought sub 500 based on not seeing it after 15 years of keeping up with this.

Not modern comics, but adjacent. Picked up this Adam: Legend of Blue Marvel Original Art this week:

Anybody got a scan of the Ahsoka reference in 2008 Discover Dark Horse?

Don't forget Star Wars Insider #199 if you are hitting your LCS today, especially the PX High Republic cover.

Is there something more in that issue that I'm missing than this?
"...it used to be a paradise world before it was torched by the raiders."It's got an exact reference to the Nihil Raiders in a different panel. Wookiepedia has jumped all over it as the earliest High Republic/Project Luminous reference to see print. They get referenced again in Star Wars (2020) #7 I believe.

I have not read all of the sample chapters, but it makes sense that a bit Jedi bites the dust at some point since there are so many of them. Sort of like the backup Red shirts on away teams in the original Star Trek.
I'm thinking somebody big like Kriss bites it, but I have zero standing here.

Yeah, I think it will pop once the focus in the comics turns to the Raiders. Right now it is on the Jedi, specifically Avarr Kriss with Kylo Ren 3.
Do you think any of the jedi don't make it out of the book? I feel like something has to happen to one of them based on the sample chapters.
-
I'm interested in buying a couple if you want to sell.
-
I think Star Wars Adventures #30 is one to get, low Comicchron numbers at 6k, split cover with Kylo, and first mention of anything High Republic (the Nihil Raiders).

I can’t imagine that these kind of prices are sustainable.
This. I think it's a super fragile bubble on a lot of these, most of these.

I need a damn basement sale.
