The prelim was published in the art of jock and really is a nice prelim I know these covers sell for 15-25k+ from black mirror so this is a good opp to get a piece from the Greta black mirror run. Seems like the market is is holding up well I am sure there are deals to be had but a lot of pieces I have watched seem to be going for around or more then I would have thought

I also thought the hush pages did well in the auction as well always love that run you guys did!

Happy new year! So what’s everyone thinking on current prices in this auction what is performing better/lagging?

Letting go of a few of my personal gems in my collection to add a few new pages. The Hush page is pretty special as it has several nice images of Harley (with Bruce and Selina very prominent) and the page is unique for the hush story line in how it’s layed out semi splashy. also letting go of my Jock cover from Detective Comics 1000 where this was used as the modern variant this cover is really awesome was tough letting it go but was able to pick up a few nice pages so need to let go of a few nice ones as well good luck and hope both of these find a good home they have been in my collection for years. https://www.ha.com/c/search.zx?saleNo=7358&collection=198&type=friend-consignorlive-notice&FC=0

The van by the river comment is funny/sad I mean I know people who save every dollar for retirement and they also do not let themselves have the nice things in life or if they do it’s on a strict budget and we could be gone tomorrow… (hope not) I feel balance is key in all things splurge on the things that bring you joy and spend less in the areas that do not.. we all play in a hobby that is a luxury these pages we treasure are a luxury many can not afford and I for one am lucky and thankful I am able to continue to play in this space… I honestly do not care if pages go up or down I prefer down so I can add better pages from runs I love but going up is fine too… happy thanksgiving

Got the 1 page I really wanted went about 500-1000 more then I wanted to go but hey they don’t come up often…

I am interested in what that early deadline (tank girl) page goes for those are pretty tough to find in the wild

I thought the Tony Moore page did well thought the Tim sale DPs and Long holloween might have been a little light those were strong pages…the kubert x-men page was a great pick up for someone

I think I could see this being done on some sketch’s maybe… I would never ever send my art in to be authenticated… I fearful of when I send stuff now and that’s usually a single page I am selling to upgrade I couldn’t image people sending a portfolio to be authenticated… but sketch’s at conventions with a image in a database thing maybe…
