Nice! While I'm a pre-code guy, these post-codes are very tempting as the artwork on the covers get very nice towards the end of the runs. The guy on that MT 135 looks like it could be modeled after Stan Lee! And that WoF 6 is creepy with that ghost floating over the water! (thumbs u
This has always been one of my favorite covers. Everett

Everett's best post-code cover for sure. (thumbs u
Here are a few more of my fav Everett covers:
This one is similar to the one discussed. I especially like the claw-like branch grabbing at the boat.
Always found this one pretty spooky.
This one also has a nice feel to it.
I find Everett's best quality is his ability to create a great emotional feel to his covers. When I look at any of these I say to myself "I'm sure glad that isn't me".
This one isn't technically great as the monsters are pretty hokie, but it really has a great feel. I'm glad I'm not one of those astronauts.

Switching gears for a moment with a bit of post-code fantasy. I realize that this stuff doesn't have the cachet of the pre-code stuff, but I always looked forward to the next issue. Enjoy!
Did you buy these books off the stand?

Here's one I picked up at the NYCC, and have just now had a chance to scan.
It's a double cover too!

I really like these multi-panel Combat Kelly covers. I may have posted this one before in this thread, but it is always worth another look.

Not showcasing the same kind of hotness as the Young Men, Lorna showed up unexpectedly on my door-step this morning. She's welcome any time -
That is one kick mask that guy is wearing!
And Lorna is also pretty kick .

Mouse Guard Winter #1 Cover with overlay:
Great cover !
Now I need an advice : I plan on framing my upcoming Mouse Guard page but am not sure if I should have a white or black frame.
Your opinion folks ?
Thanks!

I can't seem to figure out how to search Heritage's site to get a description of the Toronto collection. Can someone give me a hand?
Thx, Mike
-
These four are from the Toronto Collection:
Jann 11 - OW
Two-Gun Kid 32 - OWW
Western Kid 3 - OWW
Western Kid 10 - OWW
I specifically don't buy books with cream in the page description.
