  1. You and me both. I honestly thought that 10k was an aggressive bid. Way wrong. About 8 years ago, Terry O'Neil offered his complete low-grade run of Speed Comics at a what seemed for the time to be a very aggressive price. He specifically called out the 18 for its rarity.
  2. Just small stats in the corner? I feel like I've seen several, but the stars are usually different, sometimes large, red, in a circle etc. Also seen a number of pulps with stars. It's the Sneetches

  6. You need new glasses If you pull up the big scan, you can read the text on the inside cover. That only happens when you have significant transfer. In addition, I personally inspected the slab at the time, which is why I knew to highlight this book for its transfer stain.
