I guess the only way to find out is to put one of my two 6.5 copies on Ebay with BIN AT $5500.00 and see what happens?
Damn. 2 copies. Good luck

Yes a fantastic Joker cover! but current valuations indicate prices sold are all over the place.
A good example is the reported sale of the same book sold twice in 2017.
According to GPA the same Batman #73 CGC 6.5 sold for $1400.00 on March 5th 2017 and resold on Dec 6th 2017 for $5,600.00.
If the 2nd sale is validated as accurate, not a bad increase for a 9 month investment.
Any thoughts of what current market prices should bring on a Batman #73 graded CGC 6.0 to CGC 8.0?
No idea but I just got a copy locally from a seller for $180. Hope it continues to climb

Still probably 7.0/7.5 as the prices are trying to inch up, but are not solid in the $2,500 range. Meaning some are still going for around or under $2000, even though an 8.0 is going more around $3,000.... so that is my opinion
This. Although I think 7.0 is better value than an 7.5 as the gap between the two has gotten fairly large.

I would do a mix. Get the more valuable books in graded format and the rest raw. Having everything slabbed would be a real space killer, meanwhile having an ASM3 not slabbed would just scare me lol.

I think most silver age have reached their potential.
Some books to keep an eye out that I think has potential growth is:
GREATEST ADVENTURE #80 (1st DOOM PATROL)
SECRET SIX #1
SUPERBOY #68 (starting to take off big time)
Detective Comics #478 (1st silver age Clayface)
Batman #155 (1st silver age Penguin) much overlooked and very undervalued
A lot of DC war comics are also under looked liked ENEMY ACE, UNKNOWN SOLDIER and HAUNTED TANK
Marvel wise I see potential in
AVENGERS #71 (1st Invaders)
Avengers #83 (1st Valkyrie)
Avengers #87 (origin Black Panther)
Avengers #93 (start of Kree/Skrull war)
Marvel Westerns are also over looked. This could have vast potential in the MCU and dirt cheap
others
MAGNUS ROBOT FIGHTER 1
BLUE BEETLE #1 (1st Question)
These are just off the top of my head.
Hey,
May I ask what the big deal about Secret Six 1 is all about? I actually just got a copy in a collection and seeing you specifically point it out is quite interesting.
Thanks in advance

Here's another bad one... Guy went on a compulsive bidding spree on a Showcase #4 we were auctioning.. After winning, he emails us this "I overbid, cancel the order"
setd-5
Was this the auction from yesterday the cgc 3.5? I noticed there was no action at the end which is probably what he was praying for and never came.

Great stuff. I haven’t bought a comic in a long time, probably 2 years. Getting the itch to jump back in. Are keys and 1st appearance still going for crazy prices or has the market cooled?
hit or miss but most are crazy

Centerfolds and pin ups count as pages
Thanks for confirming. Going to pull the trigger.
I will be the ugliest member of Showcase 4

Hi club members. Was hoping someone could answer a question for me.
I have a raw showcase 4 being offered to me and according to comic database it's a 32 page book which is the total page count of this comic. Can someone confirm that there is no centerfold/pin-up that is in the middle of the book that wouldn't count towards the total 32 page count?
thanks for any assistance.

You answered your own question...if the value is the same, and you prefer the AV4, keep the AV4.
Well I did also ask what other people's preference is as well.

Hi,
Just wanted to get some other peoples opinion. I just landed a solid mid grade Avengers 4 and a friend is trying to trade me his Avengers 1 that is on par in GPA for it. I am not sure why but I really have a low interest for Avengers 1 but do really like Avengers 4.
Guess my question is based on equal value today, would you rather have an Avengers 1 or an Avengers 4?
Thanks in advance for your feedback.

Is either pic there of the centerfold? And if not, could you please post a pic of it plus at the staples of the CF?
xxx ooo
Rupp
Here is the center pic. If this isn't it I guess the centerfold was taken out unfortunately. Sorry for the misunderstanding. Also here are pics of the staples
