Don't need to be slabbed. I just listed my top slabs, if I were doing 'overall' several of those would not be on there and would be replaced with some raw books.

I disagree that this bubble is going to pop any time soon. Prices may slow down and plateau, and we will probs see some dips in sales on some books (gsx1 and ih181, NM98, etc) but once trailers or official announcements come out for X-Men in the MCU, those books will spike even harder. and assuming X-men and Fantastic Four are the next big phases for the MCU, they will continue to climb for years. the silly Wandavision and Falcon and Winter Soldier spec books will all come down for sure (Madame Hydra lmao)

Surfer 1 is on my Want List for this year but it’s gonna have to be like a 4.0 I think

I really wish I had bit the bullet on an xmen a couple years back. As it stands I’ll have to sell my 181 and GSX1 for one, and I don’t think I could do it

Mine are always changing as I buy and sell, but here are my current favorite slabs I own. This is nothing compared to some of the books I’ve seen from members here but I’m happy with where I’m at. Hoping to add a couple more top 10 candidates by year end.

Gotcha, yeah I was thinking a stain as well just kind of weird how only a part comes down on the yellow. assuming the book is stored correctly does foxing continue to get worse over time or no?

The notes for this day nothing about a stain, I can’t tell what the hell this is. I don’t even know how someone would get this small of a stain on a spot with such precision. Could this be from the printing process? it doesn’t detract from the book, it looks great, just curious

Well my wife realized it the other month when I showed her how much the IH 181 that I bought a couple years ago is worth now. The best part of this realization is she no longer says no to me buying books. "Is it undervalued?" "yeah a bit" "then get it!" Much easier conversation to have now haha

This sounds like witchcraft. So would that no longer be viewed as trimmed or a restoration item by CGC?

I saw a post the other day on the Hero Restoration instagram, and he mentioned that this book he did (Batman 1) 'was trimmed, now not' Can someone...explain?

I bought a 6.0 today! Cant wait for it to get here. I Uh ended up listing a couple books for sale which justified going $1k over my budget

If I am dropping more than a few hundred on a book I will get graded every time. I get way too nervous about restoration.

How do you guys feel about Cream to Off White pages on silver age? I keep avoiding some good looking lower grades because of page quality and am not sure if that is the right play any more 🤷🏻‍♂️
