    Lol I got one too. When I emailed the guy (I am looking for a FF49 in 3.5-4.5) he sent me a 5.5 Purple Label. I was like 'well thanks but I am looking for a blue label'. He goes 'Just describe it to me and I can get you what you need man....' Lmao ok bud.

    Probably, it’s just more of a pain. I hate eBay and I don’t have the followers for good Instagram sales. I could sell on the boards here though, just not sure how much interest there is for the books in question

    Well the guy took 11k cash before we could finalize the trade lol. But he added me to a pretty good Facebook group with a lot of traders and I have a few leads I’m looking at now (X-Men 1s and FF5s) so I should be able to locate another for trade I hope

    Yeah I paid $1200 for my ASM 14 and it has appreciated a good amount since then so if it helps me get first Doom then I think it’s ok. I think it I go through with it I’ll just get like a nice 3.0 49 or so

    I have a 9.2 NM98 that I’m holding on to. The ASM316 and X-Men 94 are both overvalued I think so I’m happy to move those now. The ASM14 I would be sad about but Dr Doom would take precedence. I would replace the 49 with a low grade copy I think

    The only way I’ll be able to own FF5 is if I trade a bunch of books, I’ll never be able to justify the cash for it. Here is what I am proposing to this consigner and he is considering, and would like advice from the boards. They the price on the FF5 around $11k.

    My OCD is getting a bit better I think Picked up a beautiful FF49 that has the small red ink dot on Sue’s face but it seems pretty common with this book, and doesn’t draw my eye away. So I’m happy with it!

    So I passed on a beautiful 5.0 FF 49 because I saw there was a printer defect on Galactus. There is a dot on his helmet above the visor. From what I have seen this is on like 5% of books. Does this kind of thing prevent you guys from buying a boon typically? I can’t tell if I’m being too ocd or not.

    I use CollectInsure. I upped my policy a couple months ago when prices went nuts. It cost me like $30. Worth the peace of mind.
