  1. I came across this comic book on Heritage. It's graded as 9.8. I know very little about grading but that cover does not look like a 9.8 cover. Any thoughts on why it was graded so high? Thank you. Bill
  2. Not sure if you know this but there is a really nice page here. https://www.essentialsequential.com/LeeWeeks
  3. A quick search of CAF: https://www.comicartfans.com/Classifiedssearchresult.asp?PM=1&txtSearch=john+byrne I see alot on ComicArtTracker as well.
  4. I've noticed a lot of "art" being sold that is hand colored over a copy of another collectors commisioned art. It bothers me. Not sure why but it doesn't seem right. What are your thoughts?
  5. I just came across this thread and wondered if Rudy was still taking commissions? I know it’s been some time since this was posted but thought I would ask.
  6. I hear what you are saying but his response was rude. He wrote that the possibility of me seeing the other pages “was not going to happen.”
  7. I agree, but that is the chance you take if you are trying to sell 7k of unseen art.
  8. The book was unpublished. There was no way to see the art.
  9. Absolutely moving on. I just thought his response was unreal.
  10. It was unpublished pages of Dracula. SONNY TRINIDAD An unpublished, complete, 27 page story, entitled "CALL OF DRACULA Emory SenaP.O. Box 13720Tucson, AZ 85732www.emorysmemories.com
  11. Just had a rude email exchange with someone called Emory Sena. He was selling 27 page of art but showed only 4 pages on his site. He told me the price and I asked to see the other 23 pages. I was seriously thinking about buying the set. This was his response. ——— Who the hell hell would buy 7k plus of art without see it?
  12. Any art cons coming to Chicago?
  13. Out of my league but I thought I would ask. How much do you think this John Byrne cover will go for? http://www.comiclink.com/auctions/item.asp?back=%2FAUCTIONS%2FPREVIEW%2EASP%3Fcode%3D2018aug%26itemtype%3D1%23Item%5F1270155&id=1270155&itemType=1
  14. This is an image I found (I think CAF) that is suppose to be Mick Austin. The signature look really different.
  15. Thank you Bird. I pretty sure you are right. The reason I'm not sure is because the images I've seen on line have a different looking signature. Not that I've found a lot of his work. I appreciate the help thought.
  16. Does anyone know who the artist is for this piece? Pretty sure it's UK art.
  17. The Hulk battles the Abomination by Pablo Marcos After some back and forth Pablo created this incredible piece of art for me. I sent Pablo a rough made up of drawings and sketches by John Buscema (my new favorite artist) and this what he created.
  18. Thanks ESeffinga. I appreciate the detailed response. I'm pretty experienced working with creatives. I'm still working with Pablo. Once it's finished I'll post the roughs (sketches) tight pencils and then the final art.
  19. Thank you Brian. I appreciate the response. I’m following him on Facebook and he has done some amazing art. We’ve gone back and forth on a few sketches so far and I havent received a sketch that reflects the art you posted. I requested a hulk and abomination commission and his fee is on the high end. I thought it would be a slam dunk. We’ll see how it turns out.
  20. Has anyone recently asked Pablo Marcos to do a commission for them? If so, can you tell me how your experience was? He's incredibly talented and I love his art. I've asked him to create something for me and he sent a very rough sketch. It makes me a little nervous after seeing the sketch. I mean to say this with as much respect as possible, I know he's older but I wonder what type of work he is creating now?
