I'm super excited about this cover, one I wasn't sure I'd ever find a nice copy that I could afford but this one fit the bill: TERRIFIC COMICS #3! I wasn't planning on finding this but when the opportunity to snag (by my estimates) LB Cole's 2nd published comic book cover I had to snag it. +1! The colors on that Top Love #3 are so cool. And the purple pool on a boat cover of Top Love #5 is key!!! Just added this one to the Top Love collection last night, only a VG but I'll take it. Love the curvy blonde: And this one is a bit beaten up, but still looks like it will present well. LB used the fire / shadow dance thing a few times: I've also got a few more from a boardie en rte! I'll wait a bit to post those, but 1 is an oldie...

Thanks! I know what you mean. The #49 really stands out from the pack, I mean just look at the logo alone! Other than that I really like the #43. Something about the detail in the background that I really like.

That is a cool cover, and Cole drew horses better than anyone. One thing he doesn't get credit for is his sport covers. 'Tis the season.... baseball season! So I just bargained down for this one:

Here's 2 I got at Boston Con today. Most happy with the Thrilling Crime from Teddy at Superworld. The Taffy was a nice surprise and my biggest purchase of the day: Oh, and in case you guys didn't notice the edits to my signature (because I know you just live and die by it... ) that Thrilling Crime COMPLETED MY RUN!!! Expect a group shot soon!

I always liked that cover. Cole had a thing for those plaid jackets and shirts!

Nice pickup! I've been tempted by that cover a few times recently. The sig could be a Suspense #4 scenario where it was just cut off. Good pickup on that issue as I hadn't noticed that it was missing.

Finally! Don't ya love it when you finally win a book you've been missing out on forever? Makes it all worthwhile after all the books that slip through your fingers! I've now got a nice copy of BLUE BOLT WEIRD TALES #114 en route! Other than that 1 ding on the spine and the LRC it looks pretty good! Has anyone started a SHARK cover? Or a killer SEA ANIMAL cover? I can participate in one of those now!

Yep. Bru's run was good. What comes after isn't all that. The 4 issue Redemption mini that goes between the old series and the new one is awful, I'd just skip ahead to the Waid stuff, which is fantastic!
