  1. Fight 59 is high on my want list, and further on down is a Fight 50. Great copies! The red on the bat really pops! That Fight 20 is killer!
  2. Wow! Cool! Very different. I've never seen that one before. The car looks more red than orange too. Mine is also a 6.0 so it's a bit under yours. Excellent pickup man!
  3. Since I'm not at SDCC (or CCI, or whatever it's called) I decided to pull the trigger and fill some holes in runs that I've been looking at for a while. All of which don't show up all that often, so I settled for 3.0 - 4.0 copies on some. First up: Top Love Stories #8. Listed at 3.0, but I've always wanted this cover. Love the martini! Next up, Top Love Stories #9! Gotta love the tag line, "My Sinful Deed!!" And finally, the only copy of this one I've ever seen for sale - School Day Romances #3. "Oh Nerts!" Love the rare purple background color cover! I had never heard of Scotty Beckett, so I looked him up. Sad story actually! Child actor who got really messed up and killed himself!
  4. I like that Action #132. Cool cover. Not sure what exactly is "thrilling" about the story implied on the Action #136. Maybe it's what chick Supes will hook up with from the cover.
  5. Um, did they get LB Cole's permission for this one??? Nice job of putting a text block over his signature.
  6. Thanks for updating this one bro! Nice pickup! I almost bid on this, but didn't wanna pay the premium. However, it is cool:
  7. Yes, Pottstown is very close to Phoenixville. Just go south on rte 100 to Ridge Rd (left) or take 724 into Phoenixville (5-10 miles). But don't pick up any strangers with their arm wrapped up in a towel or old jacket. ...... and don't go North..... or you'll end up in Blue Ball where they make you work seven days a week................ GOD BLESS.... -jimbo(a friend of jesus) (thumbs u Thought so BB. I visited my Aunt (me and 40 of my family members!) and I know they used to live in Phoenixville. Jimbo: Wise words! I'm not up to working when Yuengling is around!
  8. Thanks man! I need to take another shot of a run I finished, and then I just need to FINISH MORE RUNS!
  9. Not my best shot, and the #14 (Bettie Paige) cover needs an upgrade, but after getting the #11 here's the mini-run!
  10. Very cool BB! I was just in Pottstown, PA for the 4th! I don't think that's too far away.
  11. Not quite up to my grade, but I put in a thrill bid and won for $20:
  12. Very cool, thanks for the info! Again, great stuff!
  13. Great variety of stuff there BB! What are the 2 in the 1st pic, 2nd row in the middle? Between the Nellie, Margie / Yellow Claw, Young Men books?
  14. Yeah, and I've been looking for that one for a while. It consoled me a bit after missing out on a Fiction House book too. This cover reminds me of this 4Most cover, only this one is a tiger instead (not my copy, but I have one): Cole loved to draw horses, but he drew everything from whales, fish, funny animals, and wolves. Great stuff!
  15. Awesome! I had a custom Yellow Claw bust made for my collection:
  16. Nice one! I wanted to take advantage of a 10% off coupon, so I pulled the trigger on this one:
  17. Jeez, that's some friend! LOVE the Mystic too! I see it didn't take long for you to update your sig line either!
  18. That top one is nice damsel in distress cover too! Jeez, did you bother to read 'em? They are pretty sharp and bright!
  19. Yikes! That would be one tough list to make. Fun to argue over though! Anyone with more experience than me up to it?
  20. I get the feeling that cover was just an excuse for Cole to draw ducks, or is there a matching int. story? There is a matching interior story! I just flipped through it and quick read the panels, but I think the guy that's shot is a judge and the bad guys want to try and kill him. There's a scene when the hero even stays alive by breathing through a hollow reed underwater. He eventually shoots one of the guys with a shotgun and all is well. Then the following page is a detailed look a 6 different kinds of shotguns and the type of ammo they use. There's also a Toni Gayle story that takes place in Holland where, I swear to god, she yells to one of they guys trying to kill her, "Aw, go stick your finger in a dyke!"
  21. Thanks! There's some interior LB Cole art in the Guns book too!
