  1. It's why I welcomed the idea of doing Justice League first (well, 3rd), before jumping into the solo films. The DCEU was going to be built based off of New 52, and I read that Justice League run. I can agree with waiting to do TDKR and/or DoS later in the franchise, but it was absolutely fine to me that they brought in Batman and Wonder Woman in the second installment.
  2. The over/under is one number, my friend. You bet for it to go over or under that number. I'm not a betting man, myself, other than some select $1 bets with friends/family as a physical representation of bragging rights.
  3. The vast majority of people who complain about showing off "too much skin" have no problems with shirtless Tony Stark, Thor, Steve Rogers, Scott Lang, Peter Quill, Peter Parker, etc. Tom Holland was shown wearing just underwear in every Spider-Man film FFS.
  4. I'm guessing that you've never made a bet?
  5. To call this knowledge is overstepping. Why do you think that this is "unfair"? Had he not chosen to sell the art himself*, then I may have an inkling to agree with a different perception, but creating something and then selling it is washing your own hands of said creation (the OA itself, that is). *My understanding is that Zeck sold it.
  6. What's the over/under on the graded invisible comics now that there's artificial rarity?
  7. As great as No Way Home is, I did not expect it to perform this well at the box office. I really hope that they release an 8-film box set this year with all of the live-action movies. I only have Spider-Man 3, both TASM flicks, and Homecoming. Still bummed that they didn't release a Phase 3 Collector's Edition set...
  8. Great question! I think that @KCOComics's answer is probably the best method, as the person with the most valuable asset(s) involved takes the higher risk.
  9. How thick? CGC has slabbed TPBs (trade paperbacks) before.
  10. That's actually a great question, but I'm not sure that we can get a definitive answer about the grader's criteria for "medium" in this context. Personally, I would consider anything less than 1" to be small. I suppose that I would consider 1-2" to be medium, and then 2"+ to be large. @The Lions Den, is there a streamlined criteria that you can comment on, or does it differ from person to person?
  11. What about if it is done incorrectly? That leaves the possibility that it could happen, right?
  12. I wouldn't call this an FAQ, or Poll, but welcome to the boards!
  13. The more I think about it, the more I'm becoming a raw purist. Comics in just mylars look so nice.
  14. This was quite literally a bad idea, and the fact that CGC went with it is so disappointing. Contrary to the saying, there is PR that is bad PR. This is one of those times.
  15. Hear me out... Celestials created Sersi. Sersi turned Tiamut into marble. Why don't the Celestials simply create a new Eternal the same as Sersi and have it turn Tiamut back into a biological being...? How many plot holes does this movie have!?
  16. What is Eternals' theme? Hypocrisy? "We were instructed to never interfere." "Lol I'm gonna mind control them." "Don't interfere! Wait, we're only here until the planet explodes? Interfere!" "Why didn't we interfere for 7,000 years only to interfere multiple times and then do a big interfere?" "This is all illogical, I must kill myself by flying into the sun."
  17. I think that we have discovered that he would also rather discuss a movie that doesn't suck, such as the great Batman Begins. Makes sense.
  18. Too bad they skipped over the section with boxes for Screenplay, Direction, and Editing Quality.
  19. The episodes I saw were character moment-heavy, which I don't mind at all, since that's what TV shows are based off of. That's where Lois' actress ruins it for me. If the actresses for Lana Lang, and Lois, in Smallville were that bad I would have never finished the series back in the day.
  20. That has to be lower budget, right? Humans are literally the least interesting aspect of these monster movies, yet a lower budget surely means more pointless characters and exposition. While I thought that King of the Monsters was somewhat good and fun, GvK just wasn't it for me. They've been getting worse and worse IMO. I really like the way that this Godzilla has been done, too.
