  1. Not if you submitted the books directly to CGC. Edit: It may depend on which subscription service you have to CGC? I think that the very base subscription does not offer free Grader Notes.
  2. Snyder was actually fired. They used his daughter's passing as a cover-up to save face with the coinciding tragedy. This is partially why the Snyder Cut movement was/is so passionate. We were mislead for months after the split that "Snyder is still in creative control; Whedon requires his approval for changes to his vision." Blatant lies.
  3. Darkseid would defeat Superman 1v1. That's why he's a Justice League villain.
  4. Blaming the victim ain't cool IMO. I get criticized for loving Snyder, hating Johnson, etc. Criticizing/judging me for being passionate? Idc, I am not going to give that up. The actual reason you shouldn't take me seriously is the fact that I post sarcasm/jokes/GIFs constantly - not because I'm passionate about certain things. Those are the few times that you should take me seriously.
  5. There is literally no way in Hel this can be worse than the Frankenstein monster that WB/Whedon created. Even if you don't particularly like Snyder's style, or Worlds of DC's tone, you have to appreciate consistency. The Justice League Theatrical Cut had no such consistency.
  6. Ideally, it will be released on disc format sometime after streaming. My guess would be 3 months later. I know that it will be a chore for some, but I'd prefer a 3.5-hour movie than 4-6 "episodes". This was designed to be a full movie, after all.
  7. The premise would be no "what-ifs" and no prep time. Prep time = Thor potentially finding/using kryptonite and/or Superman potentially visiting a blue sun.
  8. Where are the haters and deniers now? The email alerting me to being tagged in this thread literally brought tears to my eyes. I'll be able to die happy someday. We won. The fans won. The haters and deniers lose. I cannot f^&*ing wait...
  9. I would keep whichever one you like more. Absolutely nothing wrong with restored books.
  10. 100%! I would put this under the "worst case scenario". As in, if highest percentage drop for a restored copy is 60%, then I would expect this to sell for that 40%. Keep in mind that I am no expert on this stuff, though. Amateur + "a lot" = bad news for resale.
  11. What kind? I can usually get four 8 oz tenderloin steaks for about $40. That is the best cut, too...
  12. Steak went down, and then "up". The "up" was a median, though. Not higher than pre-Kung Flu prices.
  13. @Bosco685, maybe you would be interested in contributing?
  14. So many variables, Robot Man. Quality of color touch, quantity of color touch, etc.
  15. I just watched a, well, let's call it "interesting" video on YT. The narrator claimed that, basically, speed is the only reason (Worlds of DC) Superman would best (MCU) Thor in a fight. "If speed were equal, Thor would win." I don't agree. As most of us know, Superman is simply OP. Are there any legitimate arguments as to how Thor could compete with, or possibly defeat, Superman?
  16. Of course. Something is only worth what someone is willing to pay for it. Right now, from anecdotal evidence, prices seem to favor buyers. Cost decreases always favor the buyer. If you want to "invest" in comics, by all means, go ahead. I'm not going to stop you. I would like to stop the narrative that comics/collectibles are a "good investment", though. As you mentioned - just buy what you like. If it appreciates in value, and you choose to sell one day, great! If not - don't be surprised. It's important to temper expectations.
  17. Iron Man, Thor, and Captain America Silver Age keys have all gone down in asking prices on eBay (of the few I follow). Regardless of this particular tangent, that was not the premise I was refuting. Goal posts matter.
  18. With the evidence that it would assist in proper English communication, yes. By no means was it an assumption that you hadn't been educated at least once. Refresher courses are often required to remember/execute something. Rarely does someone 'master' something with a single lesson.
  19. Your assertion: "...the value of collectibles arent affected by the downturn in a market the same way stocks are..." The article: "It is a mistake to believe that collectibles are immune to the performance of the greater financial markets—in general, the better the overall market, the better the collectible markets." Goal posts matter.
  20. Prove it. (You can't, because I don't do that.)
