  1. You're not wrong. I explicitly said that freedom still contains reactions to every action. Giving a few power over the many, and being sheeple in that commitment, is dangerous. Just to protect a minuscule amount of people? I'll pass.
  2. He isn't, though. Thanos was. The Earth is simply course-correcting. Something something something Darwinism.
  3. No, we aren't. Everything you said after that is a problem.
  4. You are, though. Since it's inadvertent, yes, I actually do/should. Think whatever you want (because that is what freedom is).
  5. Or I can not compromise at all, preferably, and live a regular life with the normal potential outcome of death. I ain't afraid.
  6. No - I'm not. You're not reading my posts correctly.
  7. And preventing further consequence is the battle. I am compromising my ability to combat COVID-19 by trying to live a regular life. Others should be free to have the same choice. That's the ultimate point.
  8. I'm not "dodging" your point. Your hyperbolic theoretical doesn't make any sense. I actually am free to do what I want. I am combating any infringements on the ability to do so without further consequence. Apparently that concept has been eluded.
  9. AFAIK phasing isn't currently physically possible.
  10. You have no choice into which society you "enter", though, therefor the very concept is everything you must strive towards. I can choose to not allow my peak freedom to be further compromised by corruption. Something something something Supreme Chancellor fiction was written better from historical knowledge than current events are playing out.
  11. You can respect my freedom to do whatever I want and I can respect your freedom to hide. Compromise is a choice provided by freedom - not forced.
  12. You're just providing credence that freedom truly is life's great lie. You may appeal to authority, but you do not have authority, and certainly no authority over others' autonomy. Infringing on freedom is bad for anyone and - ultimately - everyone.
  13. Except that it is. There are actions and there are reactions. There is freedom and there are consequences. This is elementary.
  14. Freedom doesn't care about anyone's intelligence. It's unbiased.
  15. If that's okay with you, then it's a problem. No.
