  1. Agree to disagree. Certainly realistic from my experience (as someone who has lost a lot - yet less than those in the fictional MCU). Hawkeye is a 'hero'. Kinda how Han and Leia went back to what they're good at - Barton went back to what he's good at - except he went to an extreme. Ronin was/is more anti-hero than hero. The opinion that the rest of mankind can cope by being a vigilante? I'm sorry, but, that's just wildly impossible.
  2. Introducing; Marvel's next big cosmic being: The Woke!
  3. The Decimation. This is why the Steve Rogers meeting scene was included. Even after 5 years - life just isn't the same. We're talking universal, structural, destruction. Half of everything, not just half of 1 person's everything. Half of everyone's everything. I got lost 7 years ago and still haven't found my way. Endgame is a realistic outcome. Edit: The Scott Lang scene was also worst-case scenario. "...at random..." means that that particular neighborhood could be mostly unaffected by Thanos, as far as citizens, but their infrastructure was.
  4. Sports cards are not the genesis of their content. Bobby Orr was created by his parents. Fantastic Four was created by Marvel. Originality matters.
  5. He's only been retired for 7 years. My mom found a collection in a garage sale and bought it for $10. Lidstrom rookie card is in there. I was surprised that it's worth about $50. The value of sports cards never appealed to - I just liked collecting them as a kid (it's why I like HUT). I suspect that the Nick rookie card will be worth much more when most hockey fans never watched him play live.
  6. Well, yeah, Orr had to have a high "Hockey IQ" to be a risk-assessing offensive defenseman. If he didn't, he wouldn't have been so great. Raymond Bourque and Doug Harvey are also in the conversation. It's not just Lidstrom and Orr. Throw Eddie Shore in there, too. Chelios, Coffey, and MacInnis are all Tier 2 compared to the above.
