  1. Yeah, there are 2 Batman Absolutes that are in the $200-range for Brand New. Luckily, they're reprinting The New Frontier in the next few months. Otherwise, that'd be another in the hundreds (sealed). I'm not keen on buying open books only because I don't have time to examine them when they arrive. If there's a missing page, anything torn or damaged, etc. It's a small risk. DC does a good job of making certain titles available across different formats, too. I think they're turning Kirby's Fourth World into Absolutes in 2020? I haven't read that series, but I've seen nothing bu glowing reviews of it. I think the omnibuses of them are in the hundreds )open condition).
  2. I heard that they offered John Krasinski director duties to entice him for sign-on as Mr. Fantastic? They allegedly want Emily Blunt for Invisible Woman, too? I think that they would be great as cast members. Not so sure about directing.
  3. I'll chime in tonight. Or tomorrow. Or Monday...
  4. Insane deal. Seriously, thanks for the info on this one.
  5. I jumped on this. Combined with my $15 eBay Bucks, I just got both Superman Absolutes for $75... Could not be happier.
  6. Yup. Almost every theater does assigned seating, my area at least, now. It's great.
  7. Tom Holland, the leader that the MCU deserves, now that RDJ is gone.
  8. That'll stop some, yes. I don't follow news/media, since it's mostly just a bunch of bias and lies/misinformation, but glad to see they're doing this.
  9. Disney could just stop pumping out bad live-action remakes of their cartoon movies, save up, and buy Sony.
  10. There is no consistency (or "always") when it comes to collecting. Each person and their interests is different. I think that, generally, conservation isn't as often 'frowned upon' as much restoration is. CGC's Conserved Label used to be gray and blue for a reason - because conservation doesn't really modify the comic itself. Conservation is just improving the appearance of the comic without modifying it (if that makes sense).
  11. I recently bought the Absolute Sandman collection, and yeah, they're must-have IMO. I've actually just expanded my want/watch list to include the Batman, Superman, and "Crisis"/JL titles I don't own. Threw Ronin and Luthor/Joker on there, too.
