  1. You wouldn't have an earnest discussion with me, anyways. You put me on ignore before ever having a conversation with me.
  2. As I've touched on Marvel's before: 2019 Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Set (They're also releasing an X-Men set in 2020 to celebrate the Fox Studios acquisition.) I'm wonder if this signals the beginning of DC releasing similar sets to celebrate their own comic events? Crisis on Infinite Earths Box Set I'm in for it!
  3. Hopefully she'll have a human personality, too. Otherwise it could be dead in the water.
  4. Captain Marvel 2: *shaves her head* "Oh, my hair was holding me back. Now I can do anything with my new-found superpowers!"
  5. The Photon Inhibitor has nothing to do with amnesia, so...
  6. I get the feeling that, again, you don't understand what this means (just like Mary Sues and MacGuffins). Captain Marvel is a (very) flawed movie. No movie is perfect. Aside from the movie itself, Brie Larson conveys close-to literally no emotion.
  7. Lol what emotion...? Curiosity isn't an emotion. The "inhibitor" is one of the worst pieces of a story puzzle that I have ever seen in a movie. It's a highlight of a poorly-conceived crutch. There's no explanation of how it even operates. How can someone that powerful be limited by something that she already had the power to eliminate...? The entire thing is just a mess.
  8. Well, for one, I said that ninety-five percent of my posts are subject-relative. I've like to remind you of my advice regarding "reading before posting". For two, people get triggered and report posts that would be seemingly acceptable. That's beyond our collective control. A quality post can be removed/reported for any reason. That's why reviews are an option. Thirdly, I will be moving on from this pointless conversation to seek meaningful, comic-related discussions (the entire reason for me being here). Have fun fuming (if that's how you choose to react).
  9. I actually contribute to the hobby. About half of my posts are in the PGM sub-forum. I don't spam or bloviate. 95% of my posts are subject-relative. There's a massive difference in quality of posts between you and I. That is why post count doesn't matter. There are users with 10% of your post count with 9000% better content.
  10. Batman: Yes. Incredible Hulk: Leaning towards "yes". Spider-Man (both): Not sure.
  11. Nice. I'm gonna get tickets for that Friday night, then, instead of the usual Thursday "preview".
  12. I agree that Action and Detective both suffered in New 52. Fair point. DC Rebirth has been very good to the Superman and Batman stories/titles.
  13. To be fair to everyone else - you infer a lot of emotions or other implications that simply aren't being conveyed. You act and post as though people aren't welcome. That is 100% false. I'm a n00b, and outside of a choice few, have received nothing outside of open arms. You attract and receive specific attention because you spam and bloviate. There's a saying around here about "reading (and thinking) before posting". You've failed to do that. I was lurking for about 2 years before creating an account. I didn't post much for about another year. I learned most of the ways of the boards. If you kept your posts informative rather than pointless, you'd receive and infer completely different attitudes from everyone. What are you contributing to the hobby? While this is a Chat Board, it's also hosted for and by comic book people. Creating meaningless spam threads does nothing to elevate the hobby, information, or other people's minds about the subject. No one cares who is a n00b. The topic of this thread ultimately serves no purpose. It's not informative and doesn't drive relative discussion (as seen by 4 pages of unrelated drek responses). Use your filter in the future to help you decide if a topic or post serves any purpose.
  14. I would put a question mark after a sentence if it's being posed as a question. wasn't* a lot* (multiple instances) couldn't give* then* happy. As a matter of fact* wouldn't* way, shape, or form*
  15. I have. I don't plan on getting Disney+ or seeing any Phase 4 films in theaters. Worlds of DC isn't looking hot, either.
  16. The more - the merrier. I love issuing a good ole reverse gang-something.
  17. I've pretty much conveyed that. Overall, I neither like nor dislike the Captain Marvel movie. I find it extremely mediocre.
  18. Is Tony even aware of Budapest? Some things are better left a mystery (Kessel Run). We don't need an on-screen representation of everything. I hate the idea of prequels because I think they'll need to reboot the MCU at some point. Some stories are better saved for a later date (if the sun doesn't scorch the Earth by 2028).
