  1. Why are you on a comic book forum if there's "an inherent problem with comic book source material"..? This isn't the place for political agendas. We're here to talk comics. Please leave SJ out of this.
  2. The OP touted his own ability to grade, but in the PGM sub-forum he's been off the consensus by more than a bit, quite often...
  3. ^ A lot of good info there. I've read elsewhere that Kevin Feige considers Far From Home to be the end of Phase 3? To me, that doesn't make sense, especially since all promos tout Endgame as "the culmination", "the end", etc.
  4. I guess. I'd consider them cameos more than "full appearances" (by movie standards). I obviously haven't read jack-%^&* about Far From Home, yet.
  5. Do you think we'll see multiple villains in Far From Home? Maybe a couple? I know they made mistakes doing such a thing in both of the previous character franchises, but I think they could pull off Mysterio and another guy. Marvel could turn the Sinister Six into a future Avengers/team-up film if they wanted to. I'd be game for that.
  6. It's a relatively small arc when you consider the scope of other crossovers, but reading Throne of Atlantis before seeing Aquaman made me appreciate the movie a bit more. I was satisfied with their adaptation of the story. I think you can buy the entire story in TPB, if you're into that kinda thing.
  7. I think you mean the opposite? Momoa's Aquaman is loosely based on the New 52 version of Aquaman (who's the most "B. A." of any Aquaman I've read). I would read Throne of Atlantis (crossovers with Justice League - maybe more).
  8. Is Vulture going to be the MCU's 3rd repeat villain after Loki and Thanos? Iron Monger, Whiplash, The Mandarin, Malekith, Ronan, Ultron, Yellow-Jacket, Ego, Hela, and Killmonger all bit the dust. Abomination, Red Skull (although cameo'd in Infinity War), Zemo, and Dormammu (likely to return?) all seemingly disappeared. Bucky and Ghost switched sides.
  9. For the record, I am not wrong. Grading is subjective, and educational course tests are not. That is where the discussion begins and ends with that comparison. Your opinion on the necessity, requirement, or desire of grader's notes is just that. If you submit a drawing to an art teacher, s/he may give you a 95%, and not say why. CGC could say, "book is off-center North 0.01 MM". Makes no difference to me. That's my opinion.
  10. Their grading process is the "trade secret". Not the grading notes.
  11. It is, though, because their processes are along the lines of "trade secrets". Disclosing their methods makes their services less valuable.
  12. You'd be wrong. School tests are (depending on course) based on objective facts. Comic grading is subjective.
  13. I don't. It's not up to us to decide how CGC grades, or for them to disclose "how" they grade. They have a Grading Scale available on the main website that you can reference for how defects add up. If you want CGC to disclose their methods of grading, then ask Coca-Cola for their beverage formulas while you're at it. LMK how it goes...
  14. Idk where you get this "almost half" from. Ant-Man, Black Panther, Doctor Strange, Falcon, Spider-Man, White Wolf - that's already twice as many.
