  1. If it is a 9.8 otherwise, then I wouldn't grade it above a 9.2 with that defect.
  2. It's not a matter of belief. The numbers are available to anyone and everyone to come to the same exact conclusion. For pre-Modern, there's the worry of undetected restoration, etc. Outside of that, there's the cost of extra fees, the time spent cross-grading, and risk of all these shipments losing/damaging the book.
  3. Wonder Woman > Captain Marvel AINEC for me. Wonder Woman's first 2 hours are virtually a perfect movie. Then that final battle just alienated itself.
  4. Thor has the most tragic MCU story, man. Mourned for his brother's fake death. Mother killed by Malekith. Mourned for his brother's fake death. Father dies. Has to help kill his sister. Best friend is killed by Thanos. Brother is brutally murdered by Thanos. He's always been under-powered/under-utilized. He has so much power now, with the Bifrost, and I'd like to see him harness the Odinforce to be on a level like Strange + Eye of Agamotto. It would be tough to see a Thor movie without Loki, though. Their chemistry together was great in every movie.
  5. Lmfao I don't think so. Disney isn't in charge here. Marvel Studios is. It's going to be a few years before the next face of the franchise is appointed. You obviously have no idea how this has worked in the past. As a character who spent 25 years away from Earth, it doesn't make logical sense for her to be front-and-center in the next Avengers appearance. Spider-Man begins Phase 4. Iron Man began Phase 1. Coincidence? I think not. And I don't think it'll be a coincidence when he's the fan-appointed face of the MCU in a couple years. Marvel Studios usually knows how to please its fans. An unpopular comic property, mediocre origin film, and divisive actress isn't going to be the choice.
  6. Automotive Design Engineer here, so I'm on a PC for most of my week. When it's slow, stirring up ship on the CGC board is my only job...
  7. Work is slow, man. I got 40 hours/week I have to burn.
  8. It's not Friday yet. Jokes aside - I agree.
  9. I don't take offense to anything. Unlike some people around here (not you)...
  10. "An unpopular opinion, I'm sure." You see the point. I don't. I'm not gonna hammer on CGC's subjective opinion. I find it easy to identify whatever flaw makes a book 9.4-9.8.
  11. NBD. I had to take a second look. The gloss of the cover just makes it look that good.
  12. I would say "yes", but I am about as amateur as it comes to "press-able defects".
  13. I'll run for office in 2024. One of my platforms will be to heavily punish those involved in art-related crimes (including comic books). Do I have your vote?
