  1. Rhodes "quit" the Avengers after he was crippled in Civil War. That's the logic. I'm gonna skip your Brie Larson blog, because there's no real good reason for them to appoint a divisive person/character as opposed to someone similar to who's led them to success so far, so I'll leave it at that. Peter Parker is a genius. Along with Shuri, one of the smartest people in the MCU. He's also got the heart of a hero. Kind of a blend between Iron Man and Captain America (who they initially wanted to lead the MCU). Ageism isn't really a good defense IMO. You're 100% right about Feige and Marvel TV. I was just informing you of the confirmed natures of SHIELD characters/entities. IMO it would be very stupid to alienate their own narrative by having both Hydra and SHIELD back in the MCU. Doesn't make sense from a fan's (storytelling) POV (and Feige is a fan).
  2. Don't be disappointed if/when I'm right. As I said, it took years before Iron Man was 'officially' the face of the franchise. Marvel Studios and the fanbase aren't going to immediately appoint Iron Man's successor. Your new prediction is asinine. It doesn't correlate to anything I've posted...
  3. You say that with such certainty. What year did you travel to the past from..? In all seriousness, I'm suspecting that he is, while you're making seemingly concrete statements to the contrary. It undermines the discussion. None of us know what for sure is going to happen. To brush the discussion off with such muster is a little mind-boggling. Disagree all you'd like, but don't be a know-it-all. I'm at least providing some insight into my conjecture. Spider-Man is an Avenger. Well, right now, he doesn't even exist, but, when he died he was an Avenger.
  4. Rhodes was an Avenger until he was crippled in Civil War. If you read the pre-IW comics, or watched IW commentary, Rhodes only joins the fight out of necessity. He's not an Avenger anymore. He also broke the Accords by joining Nomad to his destination Wakanda. Brie Larson is divisive. Period. Make up all the excuses you'd like. She's divisive. RDJ? Evans? Hemsworth? Ruffalo? Nope. Give me a logical reason why they'd force a divisive person down our throats. I'll wait. Sony does not own "full movie rights" to Spider-Man. Sony could not put Peter Parker in Venom without an agreement with Marvel Studios. What you have said is not a comprehensive agreement between Marvel Studios and Sony. I think that, if SHIELD resurfaces, it would kinda undo everything that The Winter Soldier (and onward) has conveyed in-story. Hydra is already back. If SHIELD is back, then what was the point? Why alienate a story you've told?
  5. War Machine was an Avenger pre-Civil War. Did you watch that one, either? Regardless of your inflated opinion of her, why would Disney or Marvel put such a divisive person at the forefront of such a lucrative franchise..? "Strong rumors" mean nothing. There is no confirmation of SHIELD returning to the MCU. There is the confirmation that Nick Fury is in Far From Home, and that Agents of SHIELD is returning to TV/Disney+. Sony does not single-handed own the right to Spider-Man. Hence why he was absent from Venom. Nothing that you've said makes any logical sense in the context of what is. I think that what is kinda matters to what may be. If you're gonna go off in a tangential direction then leave me out of it.
  6. Who takes orders from Iron Man..? "You're an Avenger now, kid." - A little MCU movie called Infinity War. Seems like a bunch of hogwash to me.
  7. Crippled Colonel Rhodes isn't going to be a big-time Avenger. Doesn't make sense. Brought him back? Did you even watch Infinity War..? No one has ever attempted to, "bring him back". You're talking about fans liking her character. It's not easy to like the person playing that character. They're not the same thing. Watch her interviews on Jimmy Kimmel, and about Josh Brolin, and then tell me how likable she is. Spider-Man is Marvel's biggest character, and AFAIK, you don't have the ability to predict the future (as your posts obviously indicate). A rumor is just that. A rumor. It is not confirmed whatsoever.
  8. Yeah, crippled Colonel Rhodes is gonna be a regular Avenger again... No. Vision is also dead. Not Decimated. Dead. Brie Larson's lack of personality will be held against the popularity of her character, I think. She's just bad at being a humble person and bad at interviewing. I think that Disney/Marvel Studios will run with a likable person instead. Just because RDJ was "old" when he became the face of the MCU, does not mean that Holland has to be "old" to earn his fame. Spider-Man is their biggest (most famous) property, and they have a character and his actor who has been groomed by RDJ/Iron Man. SHIELD also no longer exists... There's a ton of holes here.
  9. I'm in the Detroit area, so I could've helped you, but now I can't... Hope you have tons of fun in the States, though. Be careful. Some of those cities have dangerous areas. Maybe not as dangerous as the natural inhabitants of Australia, though.
  10. I don't trust sniping apps, so yes, I have sat there and spent an extra $20 to make sure that I won. I would've lost out on a very rare lot had I sniped that $20 lower price.
  11. IMO there's zero chance that's it's "zero chance". It took a few years before Iron Man became the obvious face of the franchise. It'll probably be a year or two before there's that same type of face for the 'new' franchise. I wouldn't be opposed to Black Panther, though. I just can't stand Brie Larson as a person to have her as such a big part to the franchise. And, as I've said, I'd like to see all 6 Avengers bite the dust, despite that being highly unlikely. Spider-Man, Black Panther, and Doctor Strange would be a good trio to replace the current 'Big 3'.
  12. They (the scammers) don't really think things through over there. Kinda like the Indian phone scammers named "Brad Pitt". Last time my best friend's dad was in China, last year, a guy laid down on the ground in front of his car. It's a common insurance scam. They're all about scamming over there recently.
  13. Tom Holland is such a likable kid, and Spider-Man is such a big character, that IMO he has to be the face of the MCU begging in Phase 4. It also helps that his movie is the first of the 'rebirth'. He's seemingly learned a lot from RDJ behind the scenes, and his character from Iron Man in-movie. It kinda makes sense that Iron Man would groom his successor.
  14. The spine on this WW is a lot worse than the OP's 'Tec 336.
  15. The expected blockbuster represents the culmination of the 23-film Infinity Saga that began with 2008’s “Iron Man.”
  16. No one. People in their wrong mind, though...
