  1. I ‘m thinking JLA, maybe from his arguments with Hawkman?
  2. There are better. In that category, I like Bill Draut's work. Not so much as fun or quantty, but the quality of it.
  3. I get that. If you look at some of Sekowsky's art, the position of body parts or location of characters in the scene defy the rules of physics or anatomy. But that seems delibertately stylized. I don't recall it much with Dillion. That JLA page which was posted by Panelfan is a hoot. I'd be tempted to buy it for the dialog. What's Black Canary doing? Using a soldering iron on a desk terminal?
  4. He was definitely a workhorse. I'm not sure I would call it fun. I don't think it did much to further the story so much as illustrate the panels. In that vein, I preferred Schaffenburger.
  5. Try Comic Art Tracker. There is a lot of it, including upcoming auctions.
  6. I notice that there seems to be a "D*ck Dillin" dump which is hitting the market, and I'm curious what others think of his artwork. Personally, I never cared for it, but some people do. So I was curious why? lt always looked flat to me and it used to turn up in the junk bins. But then, it apparently became popular..Is it purely nostalgia based? Not that the work was bad, it just didn't seem exciting. It just sat there.
  7. Try hitting refresh, or control-R, that helped me at one point.
  8. Page 1 for new art is good. But, page 2-5 are just empty skeletons.
  9. Nothing wrong with doing it. I have recommended it for basic breach of contract actions like you have seemingly described (art wasn't as described or not sent at all). I just wouldn't use the process to create a test case.
  10. I generally leave the option of all new art for ebay as selected, instead of the auto selection of what is "hot". The Phantom Stranger is almost never "hot" artwork. The filter doesn't seem to have an effect. Now, some of the newest art is visible but otherwise, still nothing on pps 2-5 and there are still blanks on page 1.
  11. Now, the New Art category isn't working for me at all. The name of the piece pops up, but no image. Correction: about a dozen pieces showed up on the bottom of page 1, but nothing on the top or anything on pages 2-5. Selecting specific subjects does seem to work.
  12. Small claims judgments may not be reported (not sure). In NJ, they do not attach to property unless separately recorded as a lien on property. I think you are overoptimistic about any such result.
  13. But if he knows it was BS, there is no reliance, undercutting the argument. Besides, the $ cost would be high. Best not to play games with this stuff.
  14. If issued in the context of a sale or lease, it would be. But if it is after the fact, then it didn't induce action. It might qualify if he decided not to return something because of it. Whether he is a liar or badly in error doesn't matter if no one buys it. If someone wanted a cheap wall hanging, it might be worth the money. I wouldn't.
  15. Yes. Broadband. Windows 7. Can't bring myself to put up with the Windows 10 interface.
  16. I think he believes it; he may just be wrong. His comments are too impassioned for me to think it was written by a liar.
  17. Still not working, on pages 2-4. Just a bunch of greyed out boxes with no descriptions. Also, the page numbers on the bottom of the 4 page list for new art don't work.
  18. I was trying to use it, and I can't get all the new art posted in the last 24 hours. Some of it is missing, and some pages won't open.
  19. I like it. Let me add that I think too many people go for a black and white look which I think makes the image too austere. This picks up the intracacy of the piece nicely.
  20. Don't count on it. The long term prognossis is not good. This is a niche hobby with prices heavy weighted on sentimentality. As the sentimental people get older and find other things to spend $ on, or die off, those prices can't be maintained. It's like musical chairs: whose going to be left standing when the music stops?
  21. I can only imagine what superpowers an Assman would have. Olfactory-implicated, perhaps?
  22. The other danger is that if the piece is really good, someone else may be offering a higher amount and you get effectively outbid. I had that once, so unless I know something has been around a while, I generally offer the requested amount. Even then, I might break that rule if the price still seemed high.
