Finally managed to get a picture that comes close to capturing the color on this one. It kept coming out grey. This is absolutely one of my favorite early FF's. GOD BLESS ... -jimbo(a friend of jesus)

The WEIRD TALES Thread: Collecting The Unique Magazine
jimjum12 replied to RedFury's topic in Pulp Magazines
Not too long ago you could knock down sharp copies for 15-20, but you still had to be on point ... they're definitely not represented like National Geographic, another favorite of mine. Those aren't all gravy either, try snagging the 1911 Machu Picchu issue in the wild. GOD BLESS... -jimbo(a friend of jesus)- 370 replies

I called an emergency meeting, which lasted all night. A decision was never made. It's a large Tilapia, Stu. Put up a heck of a fight. I set it free. Mike, The All Seeing. GOD BLESS ... -jimbo(a friend of jesus)

First Edition HARDBACKS .... the "Bookie" thread.
jimjum12 replied to jimjum12's topic in Pulp Magazines
This one is not rare or valuable, except to me. It is, however, a 1st Edition. I snagged it, brand new, at the DAV Thrift Store, one of my favorite of all charities. It was a fantastic read, just as the inner leaf promised. I've yet to see the movie, but will. GOD BLESS ,,, -jimbo(a friend of jesus) -

CGC graded Pulps - my first experience and results.
jimjum12 replied to Hibou's topic in Pulp Magazines
It was meant in the spirit of sarcasm. One thing different with pulps and comics is that an abundance of copies may mean unsold ( ... and unpopular) with comics, whereas with pulps, it's the more popular stuff, usually, that remains. GOD BLESS ... -jimbo(a friend of jesus) -
You haven't heard of the "Rudolph, The Red Nosed Reindeer" movie? I found it quite stimulating. GOD BLESS ... -jimbo(a friend of jesus)

CGC graded Pulps - my first experience and results.
jimjum12 replied to Hibou's topic in Pulp Magazines
This is because they're so scarce and rare. ... not many to grade. There's probably only a few hundred left in the entire world. That's what makes them so much like graded video games. GOD BLESS ... -jimbo(a friend of jesus) -
