I had to film the rest in their bags, as my hands are still too shaky to safely remove and return to bags, My apologies. In the interests of total disclosure, I added 5 bucks to most of them, in hopes of scraping up some pizza money. Most of the ones from the 20's don't have a ton of gloss. GOD BLESS ... -jimbo(a friend of jesus)

This was the first single digit FF I ever had. It came from Howard Rogofsky, with #11, for $12 plus 50 cents shipping for the pair. Each was VF or better. Rogofsky didn't always send taped up monstrosities. He may have done me a solid since it was my first order with him. Does anyone remember Birthday money? Every penny going to mail order comics? GOD BLESS ... -jimbo(a friend of jesus)

You guys were talking about Orrie Hitt, and I've yet to actually read anything. I recently snagged this, as it's in the JD sub-genre. I'm not a pervert, I was actually exposed to these in Junior High, when I was forced to read "The Outsiders" in English class and liked it. GOD BLESS ... -jimbo(a friend of jesus) -
Unless they have the real McCoy type of items, price gougers are immediately removed from my saved seller list. Never to return. I haven't studied the Pulp market with a fine tooth comb, but I really don't see what I call a bubble, more a shaking out of the underbrush some very cool and very scarce items, that SHOULD be fetching record prices. I saw someone comparing Pulps to graded video games in Comics General and personally, that comparison is a bit obtuse, to put it nicely. I too, am curious about how the dust will settle, but I don't expect to see shudder pulps and classic GGA, to in any way mimic the WATA market. I think Rick has done a fine job rolling these out at Heritage. I think this market will be as healthy as a collectible market can be, and there are still thousands of unicorns. Slabbing won't change that. GOD BLESS ... -jimbo(a friend of jesus)

...and even some popular titles that get lumped in aren't, like many of the Frazettas came after 1969. It's an emerging market and trying to "figure it out" may actually lead to some costly mistakes. GOD BLESS ... -jimbo(a friend of jesus) -

I enter "paperback" into the search field and then select "antiquarian and collectible" and you can weed out some of the pure reading audience. Another informative search is to choose "Highest price" instead of "best match". Using the highest price search for completed auctions seems to suggest a relative price ceiling of $100 for most PBs. There are definitely ringers in the field that far exceed that. GOD BLESS ... -jimbo(a friend of jesus)
