First of all, no, I'm not willing to sell or trade it.
I have a PLOD 7.0 with Pro color touch. I'd like to get it cracked, have the color touch removed, get it cleaned and pressed and re-submit it. I'm not someone who gets a lot of comics graded, but I will be now since I have this and a bunch of other stuff that I'll be sending in. Anyway, I'm looking for advice, thanks in advance. I'll be hanging around the boards more now that I'm getting back into the hobby. On the note of grading and restorations, I also have an All American Comics #3 and a Speed Comics #3 that I'm considering having some resoration work done to, advice on that is also welcom. -

I have a CGC 7.0 PLOD, do people even use that term anymore. It has Professional color touch to the cover. I sent it in ages ago, before CGC did any pressing. It wasn't pressed or cleaned by me, but I am guessing that the person who did the color touch probably did.
I am considering having someone remove the color touch and then clean/press it before resubmitting it. I have no idea what grade it will get, ebay graded this comic over a decade ago and things are much different now.
What do people have for advice on this? I'll also be submitting 3 #2' and 2x #3 and #4. -
I've heard that graders are stricter now than when this was graded too.

Dust shadows
Light foxing
Some light tanning???? Need to see inside of covers.
Micro tears top edge
Color breaks in top cover'
Soft corner bottom spine front cover
I would say 7.0 range
I think the scan might be deceptive as far as the dust shadows and foxing goes, I'll have to look at it again. I really need to post photos as well as scans, but it's a bit of a hassle to do both.

Ugh, I gave it an 8.0. I'll have to look deeply at it again.

I originally, a long time ago, gave this an 8.5, but grading just seems to keep getting tougher, so I'll say an 8.0 now. The consensus is lower, so we'll see when I get it back.

6.5 IMO.
But a very GREATTTTTTTTT 6.5. Which is still a 6.5, but it's handed to you with a smile. A masked smile of course, because we're apparently all playing super hero now.

Galen gets the purple cup, and I too gave it a 5.0 as is.

7.0-7.5 That is a nice book. I think it's just miswrapped or miscut at the factory.
Can't be a miswrap due to the fact that the line between back c and front are delineated by a hard color change, and you can see that line is aligned well at spine. Could be miscut. I have sooooooooooo many miscuts. That dude should have been fired, or at least given better scissors. -
The Huntress makes purple look good.

7.5 - 8.0 I don't know what these other guys are seeing, but I think that they are allowing the modernity of the book to affect how they are grading it.

Geez, that's tough, 8.0. I'd say higher, but chipping really kills ya, it's part of the comic missing. I don't even think the 8.0 is being honestly possible.

So, nobody knows of a pro restorer who can pull the color touch off using chemicals? I wasn't limiting myself to CCS as the only option.
