OK, anyone else want to grade it before I say what I gave it?

I don't know about the grade but that dialogue is uncomfortable....
Huh? Not following.

If I'm not mistaken, it costs about $15 to press a book like this? Or am I off the mark on that one?

For your entertainment, I bring you a Batman #137 that's going to CGC soon. Take your best shot at it. I know what I'm calling it, but I'll wait to post that until later. I'm also looking for your opinions on whether to press it or not. It is not brittle at all, however, it also has almost no creases or bends so I don't know why I would take a chance on pressing.
Following the threads guidelines now, one book per thread. -
The Batman #137 is pretty tight, no real creases, would people press that one? What would be the point?

They looks like good candidates for a clean and a press..
Is that tape/glue on the Daredevil 2?
Yes, it is tape, that's one of the reasons I've never sold this raw, too hard to grade. Plus, I'd like a slight resto, or rather, cleaning done to it. I'm not sure who would do that.

@joeypost, is this safe for pressing?
That's what I want to know.

What are your intentions? Are you selling them?
Yes, I may hold onto them for a little while, depending on this economy. But I want to sell them.

Is this collection in New Mexico? If so, I believe we met once.

Thank you, I just posted there.

Hello, I have some books I will be selling soon and I could use some advice please. I've casually collected since about 79, but I don't send books into be graded. I am hoping for advice on two things, Should I get them pressed (I don't really like the idea and have never done it before) and any advice on how to submit them. I have more, but I don't want to flood the thread too much right away. I really do appreciate any help or advice y'all give.

Hello, I've been a casual collector since about 1979, but I don't slab many of my books. I've been putting those that I consider worthy aside for a while. Now it's time to slab some silver. I've collected this set of books that need someone better than me to grade and I'm wondering what advice y'all give, especially considering pressing. Below is a list of the first batch I'd like to send in. Note that I erred on the side of the lower grade.
Asm #9 (3.0)
Aquaman #1 (3.0)
Batman #137 (8.0)
Captain America #102 (9.2)
DD #2 (Very tough to grade)
DD #4 (5.0)
DD #24 (8.0+)
2x FF #48 (4.0 both)
Flash #123 (4.0 - 6.0)
Ghost Rider #1 (3.0)
Iron Man #1 (4.0 - 6.0)
Showcase #17 (2.0 - 6.0)
T.O.S. #41 (3.5)
T.O.S. #57 (6.0+)
I'm new to this forum, I hope to stick around and post more, but I haven't been on a forum since the old comics corral days. Again, any advice is appreciated and if this site allows scans to be posted, I have them, if not, again, just give me your advice, particularly considering pressing and restoration.
