  1. 5.0 Love those Lucey hands! Those books are soooo thick. I wanna see it after. I always find these cheap because everyone at my flea market is just focused on "10 and 12 cent-ers"
  2. These are all "wall books" in my collection. The comic store I got them from (except DD 10) prices Overstreet -50% so the Doc Strange was 10 bucks. 22 bucks for the 101 and I got the Teen Titans for under 60 but I traded in some graphic novels so I don't know exactly how much it was. Anything good is up on their walls for only a few days or even hours. Got a NYX3 VF+ for 16 bucks too.
  3. About 10 years ago when I got back into comics and had a list to fill I went to all the LCS looking for old books. Asked lots of owners why they don't have what I need out and most of them said back issues make up less than 8% of yearly sales. They also have to grade, bag, board etc... instead of just throwing them on the shelf.
  4. Last 97 I got had it cut. Was only 2 dollars so no biggie.
  5. Misfits also ripped the cover from Chamber of Chills for the Die Die single.
  6. I knew Kung Fu Fighting and I Shot the Sheriff would show up soon.
  7. Yeah, back in the day some Manga artists wouldn't let their work be translated because it would have to be mirrored.
  8. Saw 45 Grave in SF after the earthquake. The Embarcadero was still collapsed and more band members showed up than audience.
  9. Misfits released an album called Earth A.D. which I assume they got from Kirby.
  10. I'm lagging on this thread got so many songs to listen to.
  11. Read Doctor Death vs the Vampire the other night and loved it! Good job!
  12. Thanks! ...there were some real dogs on the rest of that art board tho....
  13. Thanks Kav! Yeah she was a 2 min scribble just getting used to the new pens. Still looking for a real nice blue pencil. My goal is to draw a whole page with no photo references at all and make each person look unique and the same from panel to panel. So many comics these days all the faces look the same and you can't tell what is going on.
  14. My first time in this thread and went back about 30 pages so far. Great stuff everybody! I have been face mapping now and liking the results where I used to just look at something and draw it. Here some stuff from a few months back: 2 Princess Leias (one DeCarlo style) and an Invisible Woman from How to Draw Marvel.... that looks more like a Tim Sale Lois Lane.
  15. I used to have a 57 Chevy, a buddy with a 55 Ford gave me an Eddie Cochran cassette tape.
