@shadroch The Creed and TMNT crossover is a unique one. That issue had the most variant covers for a TMNT book until IDW started publishing in 2011. But, the crossover itself came to existence from Trent Kaniuga asking Peter Laird for permission to put Turtles in his Creed property. Lightning didn't have an ongoing Turtles title or anything but Image was just starting TMNT Vol. III at this time so Peter must have been thinking it was good for business. Here's a neat bit of info. about this directly from Trent.

There are seven different variants for the Creed and TMNT crossover, with the Subscriber's Hybrid (Blue/Bronze) edition being the most rare version - although the Signed & Numbered edition with COA is pretty rare as well. The Subscriber's edition was limited to only 500 copies and was available only to those that held a subscription with Lightning Comics at the time. I'll list the variants here for you with print runs but you can see images here on my site.

    1. Trent Kaniuga Edition - regular/main cover
    2. Peter Laird Edition - regular/variant Laird cover
    3. American Entertainment Exclusive - limited to 3,000 (with numbered COA)
    4. Platinum Edition - limited to 2,000 (with numbered COA)
    5. Gold Collector's Edition - limited to 1,200 (with numbered COA)
    6. Signed & Numbered Edition - limited to 700 (with numbered COA)
    7. Subscriber's Direct Hybrid (Blue/Bronze) Edition - limited to 500 (with COA)

Here are the first two listed. If I find my Creed stash I’ll see if I have any of the other ones.

With all the lawyers and legal people who visit this website and love comics, can one of them track Rob down?  I mean, really pin him to the wall. Tell him we demand 1) print numbers and 2) signatures. :foryou:

Maybe you could try a message on his EBay store page? It looks like it’s active.

Something a little different this week: Jeff Smith Autograph Card from the Bone Series 2 Chromium set. Comic Images decided to put five times as many Autograph chase cards in this set compared with the sketch card from Series 1 so they were much easier to find. Unfortunately, they must have been stacking them on top of each other while Jeff signed them because they all have smudged signatures and ink on the backside of the card lol

I don't think I ever bought a pack from this set or Series 3 but I remember buying tons of Series 1 (sketch card was incredibly elusive). I bought this on eBay about a decade ago. Any of you have the trading cards or remember collecting them?

I have an unopened box of Bone cards, copyrighted 1994. I also have some chase cards and I believe I have some regular cards but can’t find them at this point.

  4. My slow track Modern that was delivered to CGC 1/17/22 was delivered today. Grades were 13 9.8, 3 9.6, which is what I expected, but 4 were disappointing.

I usually sell the extras to pay for the ones I want to keep but with the extremely long turnaround times, two price increases within a year, and inconsistent grading, I am tapping out. This was my last submission for the foreseeable future. I’ll keep an eye on this thread to see if things settle out though.

    Modern slow 20 books

    Delivered 5/13/21

    SFG 7/7/21

    Grading 11/17/21

    Encapsulating 12/15/21

Seven months and counting for a modern submission is ridiculous.

I received the order 2 days ago. Grades are good, turnaround time is bad.

    10/16/21 Shipped. YES!

    12 Modern all 9.8!

I just received another order of 20 Modern slow track today. This order was received by CGC on 9/23/21, so I must have been one of the new test track orders. Happy about that 15 business days turnaround! ^^

I have another outstanding order that was delivered to CGC on 5/13/21, and I haven’t received that back yet, but I’ll be patient. :)
