  1. Same ... I went to a hockey game and was worried because I had no WiFi but now that it’s past 1900 hours I’m beginning to feel like the kid who liked the super hot girl and actually felt like he had a chance
  2. Solid comic at a great deal ! Carefully packaged and Incredibly fast shipping ! Thank you very much
  3. Wow - I’ve never even seen those ! Magnificent covers !
  4. I had a similar fate - pressing is only $10 and IH 181 being ‘74 cost $70 I believe for a regrading ( I did get a .5 bump though) I also own one of each - punisher and wolverine 1st app 5.5, 5.0 - I’m just happy to have them and have them slabbed ....
  5. Didn’t Neal Adams do a few ? I always found it odd how Uncanny X-men was stuck in limbo for a few years with reprints before CC stepped in - unfortunately I still need to grab 130,131 , and 97 which are heating up pretty substantially now ...
  6. I need to get that AND find a legitimate TPB source - love the Zeck cover - is stock trades good ?
  7. “ did you know your last name is an adverb ?” A majority of that movie wouldn’t be quotable with the SJW’s ...regarding overpaying for a comic - avengers 55 - first ultron , was working on the run a few years ago and in hindsight ,should’ve waited until AFTER that movie came out
  8. I’ve started doing the same - initially started with Claremont run - But has expanded to full Series - haven’t gone back before 89 yet - so I’ll save those for last ... good luck
  9. That sounds about right - the Sinestro is magnificent with white pages and the X-Men is a very clean fine copy . Did you press these first ? congrats !
  10. Punisher gun pointing is abundant ! But great cover
  11. Yes - the blow torch scene was from the Thomas Jane vehicle - and that scene was actually from a comic (war zone or 80’s full run ?) that entire plot is loosely based on the “ welcome back frank” series and it’s probably the most comic book accurate , although the new netflix series has a lot of references as well
  12. Good call - I love the frank Miller punisher / captain America issue
  13. Although this isn’t the actual picture of the one I grabbed - I just wanted to include a visual - It was a mid grade 5-6 or so - got it in the 2/$5 bin
  14. It’s too bad they couldn’t get the contractual rights to use the skull emblem , there are probably pieces in each of the now 4 iterations of “the punisher “ Which I enjoy - but probably many more pieces I don’t ....
  15. I just wanted to give a shout out to Kevin who sold me a sweet 9.8 double signed SDCC comic - quick shipping and really polite ! thanks - Adam
  16. I concur - it does look obvious and I can’t look at the comic without noticing it , that being said - I’m happy to own a FA of Sinestro at an affordale price , if I do decide to move it - perhaps it will be easier at this point as there are no obvious alterations ? Regarding CGC , I always found it peculiar that a date stamp or name written on a comic isn’t an alteration , but a straight pen mark is . Lastly , I can’t let it age gracefully - because prior to I always looked at the green pen mark - but I digress , I’m happy - for now ....
