Painting is of Christopher Lee as the creature from Hammer's The Curse of Frankenstein (1957). Book has the added benefit of being signed by Christopher Lee himself - I can vouch for the signature as I've met Lee and have numerous autographs by him. $140 shipped in the U.S.

My picks for this round Startling Comics #40 - 3.0 Strange Confessions #1 - 5.0 Fantastic Four #50 - 7.5 Batman #210 - 5.5 Captain Marvel #31 - 9.4 My best round - 3 bullseyes and only a half grade off on the remaining two for a total of two points. My secret - I graded quickly and without repeated rethinking everything and making changes - I'll have to remember this for the future 😆

I had Hit Comics #1 - 3.0 Showcase #20 - 4.0 Doctor Strange #169 - 4.5 New Gods #11 - 8.0 Amazing Spider-Man #301 - 9.2 The Hit Comics killed me with the left front corners that looked like a rat knawed on them.

I'm most excited about a new stand alone Swamp Thing from this upcoming unified DC upcoming universe. I was a big fan of the original film and based on the recent cable series, the new film should do Swamp Thing justice. Below is my original one-sheet poster from Swamp Thing that star Adrienne Barbeau signed for me.

My grades Batman #2 - 3.5 Mystery in Space #53 - 6.0 Amazing Spider-Man #9 - 3.0 Blackthorne 3-D #75 - 9.0 Transformers #1 - 8.5 - Happy with 5 pts but kicking myself over the Batman - originally decided it was a 3.0 and then bumped it up to 3.5 for being a key golden age book.
