Looks like a slight spine roll with fanned pages.....There is a bend or a crease ? Running down the front cover thru O in Conan......It shows up better in a moving light.....Another crease under the N in Conan......Some edge wear on the back along the top . We have some color breaking stress lines along front spine...... On the back the ink transfer ( If that is what it is ) appears to be a common production flaw with the book as I've seen it on others.......some finger bends on the back. P.S. Thanks for all thoughts and grades.

We have some creasing in the lower right corner......Above the A in Conan we have a semi circle crease that goes thru the whole book and can be seen on the back top left corner. P.S. Thanks for all thoughts and grades.

The front spine has many color breaking stress lines....I don't see a spine roll but we have slight fanned pages I guess due to a storage issue......The back has a crease going thru the G in Spalding. Another crease in the opposite corner. P.S. Thanks for all thoughts and grades.

Those bends really show up in that white on the cover.....If that's what they are ?

So there are some stress lines along the spine on the front and back.....we have some finger bends on the front...on the back we have a small piece out on the bottom edge. Finger bends on the back also. P.S. Thanks for all thoughts and grades.

Edge wear along top edge.......stress lines on the spine....a slight stacking crease towards the bottom of the spine.......On the back there is a crease in the bottom right corner that goes up the comic book about half way. P.S. Thanks for all thoughts and grades.

Maybe some guy spill Hawaiian Punch on it it and wiped it off and it dried like that.

So this book has some problems....lots of creasing on the front cover...stress lines along the spine. .some waviness along top edge..........The back ..well its well documented in the pictures ...I don't know if it got wet and dried like that ...but I think it's just been manhandled or wasn't stored right......I don't see any signs of water damage from what I can tell. The inside of the back cover has some waviness but nothing like the outside of the back cover. There is some red showing on inside and outside of back cover.... P.S. On the front there are a couple of rather large reader creases or bends coming down below the C and the O in the Title.....They run to about the UPC code box. .They are kind of hard to see without a moving light......several stress lines along the spine...The back has a somewhat large crease in the top left corner area....some bigger stress lines along the back spine....It just looks like whoever read these books and sold them back to the Comic Book Shop....just was not very gentle when he read them. The front has several stress lines along the spine with some quite large impact on the cover....also looks like some waviness ? Or maybe it just looks that way because of the severe stress lines.....The back has a big ..I guess its a crease running from one side to the other going across the mans nose....The crease shows through to inside the back cover but goes no further....the back has other bends and such ...along with some wear on the top edge. The front has some light finger bends ? I think show up in moving light......maybe some color rub between the the O and N in the Title... it is smooth to touch so I don't think its a substance.......maybe a slight reader crease along the spine ? The back has some bends in the yellow and such .....a little more noticeable. P.S. Thanks for all grades and thoughts.

The cover has a few light ( Finger Bends ? ) which appear to be hard to see without a moving light source....some stress lines along the spine.....A spine roll and fanned pages....On the back right under the word ( Fast ) and above the word ( Make ) we have a slight ...Residue ? Something appears to have come into contact with the book in that scattered area. It doesn't really seem to have gone thru the book to the back inside cover....Maybe a little bit in one area. P.S. So I imagine this book would be considered to be a pressing candidate ? I wonder how much a pressing if done would raise the books grade ? Thanks for all thoughts and grades.

More of those light ( I guess ) Finger Bends in The Title on the top of front cover ...it's hard to see without the moving light...several stress lines along the spine...some color breaking....The back has more bends in the yellow and what looks like some kind of a full length crease along the spine...some kind of stain on the bottom edge in the middle ...like a drop of Pepsi that went thru to the inside of the back cover but no further. The full length crease appears to only affect the back cover. P.S. Thanks for all grades and thoughts.

I hope people won't mind if I post some Conan books and get practice and help grading these type of books that are mid-level and upwards. There are several bends or light creasing around the top half of the book in the title...not sure if pics show that.....kind of need that moving light to really highlight it....There are several rather large stress lines along the front spine some color breaking....More bends and such on the bottom half of front cover also....The back has more of the same but not as much or as profound. P.S. I don't use or understand the pressing technique so I don't know how much a books grade goes up when using pressing on books....just trying to grade these books ( as is ) If you do post a grade based on pressing I would love it if you also tell me what grade the book is ( as is ) that would help me learn how much pressing can affect a books grade.......obviously it's the defects on a book which would contribute to the thought process in deciding whether or not to use the pressing technique ....I get that. Regardless I'm very thankful for any and all grades and or thoughts on any of these books....Thank You very much.

1.8 I don't really see how it could get a 2.0 but that doesn't mean it won't......the way they grade these days.
