  1. First the rules:

    - Preferred method of payment is check or money order due to the amount on the book.
    - No returns on slabbed books.
    - Shipping is listed in the cost below.
    - No probies or HOSers.
    - “I’ll take it” in thread trumps any PMs.
    - Will provide phone number through DM if needed.

I purchased this book from a fellow boardie not too long ago and now I'm moving some of my stock around and this one is going up for sale. I'm selling for the exact price that I paid for it.

    Human Torch #30 CGC 6.0 - $1520 $1450 shipped

  2. The time that has already passed is what I'm getting hung up on. He sent it off to CGC without inspecting it. As another member pointed out, if the TATs were still 10 months he wouldn't know about the incomplete book until a year from now. Would it be ok for OP to reach out to the seller and ask for a full refund a year later? Where's the line? 60 days is a long time to ask for a full refund. I say take what you can get back (in this case $100) and cut your losses. Reputable dealer or not there has to be some kind of timeframe to make a claim.

Your interaction sounds like the exception, but it would’ve been disheartening for me to meet someone in such a mercantile manner, being herded along and what not, almost ensuring the most generic of experiences for everyone else.

Yep, I was happy I got a small interaction with him but it was absolutely disheartening to see him like that.
