  1. I'm holding out hope for Defenders of Dynatron City.
  2. Kudo to RMA for telling me about this comic a year or so ago in his usual condescending post! (I tease. He was being nice guy!) This is how rumors get started, Mr. Whet.
  3. I witnessed a stack of books at Comikaze. I didn't have any of my own books done, but it was fun nonetheless. First time I got to meet Stan face to face.
  4. I wasn't even awake when this game started. Bummer.
  5. No all or nothing. It was like crickets in here. There are TONS of obscure sigs out there that are impossible to "read", so there's lots of potential candidates, plus the guys who sign different ways. Which would be better (more fun)? a) 10 sigs like before, but no all or nothing. Winner decided by most correctly submitted. b) 1 sig at a time. Winner decided by who gets it right first. (This is probably easiest to implement.) c) ? Points to each correct answer, so the effort isn't wasted. A is just like before, with the points being all or nothing in this case. All or nothing makes people feel like it's a wasted effort. I'm not following. How would it work? Contestant 1 gets 7 right, 7 points. Contestant 2 gets 1 right, 1 point. Contestant 3 gets 2 right, 2 points. Oh, I see what you mean. But how would that work in practice? X posts answers, Y reads them and modifies his answers. No, first correct answer wins. There are enough eyeballs around here to prevent edits. Plus, the next person posting an answer could quote the one above, to be sure there aren't any changes.

  9. Plus, no complaints about who caused the lock.

  11. Stephenson doesn't sign much, and doesn't really have much to sign.
  12. I should be summarily executed for following proper investigative procedure on C&D #4, but ignoring it for Invaders #12. I totally glossed over Bucky's quite obvious mask.
  13. No bonus points this round, but I like the idea. I won't tell if you won't. That mean ol' Shelley won't have any idea.
  14. What was the Thomas book, and do I get bonus points for naming which book?
  15. 1) Bruce Jones - Alien Encounters #6 2) Eric Larsen - Amazing Spiderman #332 (also signed by Stan Lee) 3) Mark Bagley - Amazing Spiderman #359 4) Rick Leonardi - Cloak and Dagger Mini #4 5) Roy Thomas - FF something 6) Eric Stephenson - Nowhere Men #1 (also Nate Bellegarde) 7) John Kricfalusi - Ren & Stimpy #1 8) Walt Simonson - Thor #337 9) Silvestri - Uncanny X-Men #251 10) Campbell - Amazing Spiderman #8 Campbell sketch #194 homage
  16. Just a reminder that if no one solves this, I'll be giving hints starting at 5 PM PST. A couple suggestions/comments: Sometimes it helps to decrease the size of the photos as an aid to recognition. With PCs, this is easily done by holding the control key and rolling the thumb wheel. There is no rule against multiple submissions. But, as mentioned, if you don't get all 10, you'll probably be helping someone else solve theirs. Prior to 5 PM PST, if someone submits a contest entry and doesn't win, I will note in the tread that the game has not yet been won. After 5PM PST, if someone submits a contest entry and doesn't win, I will also note how many were correct. (I think this makes sense. Since the other contestants benefit from the information, the submitter should also benefit by getting some sort of hint as well). Godspeed. Hint #1 Rocky's score was 9 out of 10 correct. Next hint in 15 minutes. Hints aren't fair hints unless they're hints for all. That one should help you more than anyone else. Not if I already knew that.
