  1. [+] Oh, I'm well aware of that. But, I spent too much time wracking my brain about Leonardi, so someone else can have it.
  2. I would totally edit my post, and that's not against the rules, but that doesn't seem very sportsmanlike, so I'll just leave it. Whoever gets #6...congrats!
  3. Yeah, #6 doesn't *quite* look like Ed McGuinness, but it was close enough. Oh well.
  4. 1) Bruce Jones - Alien Encounters #6 2) Eric Larsen - Amazing Spiderman #332 (also signed by Stan Lee) 3) Mark Bagley - Amazing Spiderman #359 4) Rick Leonardi - Cloak and Dagger Mini #4 5) Roy Thomas - FF something 6) Ed McGuinness - dunno. Maybe Supes? 7) John Kricfalusi - Ren & Stimpy #1 8) Walt Simonson - Thor #337 9) Silvestri - Uncanny X-Men #251 10) Campbell - Amazing Spiderman #8 Campbell sketch #194 homage
  5. The source material for doctoral theses in psychology present in the B/S/T sections of this board would be enough to bestow degrees upon 1,000 candidates.
  6. Of course there is, they have no history...however to keep the tone of this thread consistent I will come to the conclusion that your ulterior motive when posting this is to portray yourself as a champion of n00b equality only to lure those most likely to pay high prices into your den of comic flippery. So, after some time members earn the right to shenanigans. Few are willing to admit that. It's true. For example, I get to steal any and all 9.8 copies of Batman between #400 and 442 that I want, and no one can say anything. You should see what the class of '02 gets away with...
  7. I wonder how there can be a poll on page 87, when there are only 50 pages in this thread.......... To answer the pages issue: very little. Unless the pages are CR/OW or worse, it doesn't bother me.
  8. I sold a VG Jimmy Olsen #134 to Jim Valentino in 2003 or thereabouts. The price? $7
  9. The "winner" gets some tasteful boudoir shots of moi so let's not overcomplicate things. This isn't the General Discussion thread. It applies universally, dinglehopper. The issue of "time stamps" has been a recurring one.
  10. By the way...."Time stamp" isn't foolproof. Anyone can change their post without anyone else being the wiser. The only foolproof time stamp is to PM Shelley with the answer, then immediately leave the PM thread, so that only Shelley (that's Ditch to you youngins) can access your answers.
  11. I have 9 of them, and half of the books they come from. The 10th is ticking me off. (It's not #10, that's easy.)
  12. It is all present OR accounted for. All present AND accounted for is a contradiction, because accounted for necessarily implies everyone is NOT "all present", but their status is known.
  13. Don't I get some Ditch points just for being generally awesome?
  14. Pffft. All your 90's chickas didn't hold a rusty candle to Lea Thompson circa 1985. She won the internet back when it was still the ARPAnet, and the domain of threaded message boards and geekspeak.
  15. I love listening to Japanese speakers refer to Star Wars while speaking Japanese... "Stah-doo Woes"
  16. Just arrived - you have been here since 2002. You are OG! We're all OGs, no? Some of us are just a little more O than others.
  17. Too fast. Whoever created that should have slowed it down just a bit Is this better? I must have missed Bowie's "Ziggy Buscemi" period Apparently it happened twice.
  18. Yours are sexy, too, B-Dawg, I'm super jelly.
