  1. I've had about one dozen non-paying buyers in my time here and zero motivation to bring it up for probation discussion. That's because you're way awesomer than everyone else on these boards. Everybody knows that.
  2. I think the proper term is "bazillion."
  3. I now want to read King Size Hulk #1. How many CBC's will it cost me? A bazillion.
  4. New Marvel title....? That looks like you're telling me to bow down... Only for the Pico.
  5. "Lite" is not the same thing as "light."
  6. Interesting side note: McFarlane was at Image Expo on Thursday, and brought the original Steacy painting to Spawn #1, all framed and matted, very nice. During the signing, someone bumped the table it was on (may have been Todd, or anybody) and it crashed to the floor, smashing the glass in the frame to smithereens. The painting didn't look like it was damaged *too* badly, but it didn't escape unscathed, either.
  7. I'm always mystified at how lazy an LCS is when it comes to staying on top of books that start catching fire. I know it's difficult but that's why I'll always set higher prices on hotter books or keys to help leverage against overnight spikes in price. Hit another LCS and landed #49 (x2), #50 (x2), #52 (Cdn Newsstand variant), #53 (Cdn newsstand variant) for $3 - $4 apiece. You and your Canadian newsstand finds. It's like you live in Canada or something...
  8. I just heard the OT PO PO down the hall! RUN!
  9. But his memory lives on in the X-Men arcade game. you know--- I don't think I ever read Hulk 182. As I recall, Wendigo was to fight the winner between the Hulk and Wolverine. Who won, did they fight? Or did Wendigo get relegated to video games and Hostess cupcake ads? nevermind-- I need to stop asking obvious google questions How much cooler would Hulk #181 have been if Wendy had EATEN Wolvie? Huh? HUH?? Those Marvel people, always afraid of showing the real face of cannibalism. Cannibals are people too, you know!
  10. Apparently, you can just call up your local Pizza Hut.
  11. 'Not Overstreet' is the important part of that story. Both Wizard and the flimsy monthly newsprint guide (I forget the name) had prices that were in no way connected to reality. Overstreet was the opposite. They often took years to change prices to reflect market transactions. Comics Values Monthly. NM #98 at $22 meant that #99 was $20, $100 was $25, and #87 was $125.
  12. NM98 was a 6-8$ book into its first few years mainly because of Domino speculation It hit the $20 mark in the late 90s if I recall correctly....... You don't.
  13. Great...now I'm craving Giordanos, thank you. It's only an eight hour drive Jim Don't worry…ended up making myself hungry, too. Old Chicago Pizza Yea no.... Chicago doesn't make pizza. They make Sauce Pie. It's gross. Please NEVER refer to that stuff as pizza. THIS is pizza Quoted for truth. You people are all BEGGING for someone to start complaint threads about being off-topic. (Yes, I'm poking fun at the OT police.) Totally on topic, we are going to buy pizza with the millions of monies we make from this coin from an avengers book paying dividends. Pay attention! Ohhhhhh... I see. Carry on! But wait...does that mean that the flow of the conversation organically meandered into pizza, tangentially from the millions of monies of Avengers dividends....? This OT stuff is very confusing. Now I'm terrified. PIZZA COINS!!!! Brilliant! A full circle! You've saved us all!
