  1. Last new stuff. Sorry for my poor pic taking abilities. Very pleased with these. Allred goodness. Under represented on the census. For Sean. I'll never get enough of McFarlane Amazings. #316 especially. Albedo First Black Cat...White Pages. How Appropriate. Soon to be winging it's way across the pond... Finally got a high grade one. I had set these three aside for years. Finally graded 'em. #9's got WP. Yay. My oldest self-subbed 9.8 to date. My first John Byrne X-9.8 And finally.... My very first self-subbed Silver Age book...and appropriately enough, it's Batman #200, one of the very first Silver Age books I actively sought out, way back in 1990-1991.
  2. Oh...no...please, not that. Whatever shall I do...? Oh, I know. Carry on as usual.
  3. Sorry Cs I have to call you on this. He did nothing but try to offer you advice to help you repair some of your rep on here, and you bashed him and started to insult him. His current attitude has nothing to do with liking you, I don't think. Big difference between offering advice and taking a step back, and continuing to monitor every response of mine to make sure it goes along with his said advice. I didn't need to hear it 350x in a row from him. He speaks as if he is some GOD of the internet, or some inventor of commerce. He didn't see the valid points of anything I was saying. He acted as if he did some big favor to me. Too much of a good thing I guess. Many people who say things like "you think you know it ALL, don't you" say that because someone has said something that they know to be true, deep down, but it shames them because they are behaving contrary to that truth, so they lash out at the speaker to mask their shame. I'm fairly certain that holds true here, as well. As it stands, I don't care about you one way or the other, and you're certainly not worth actively disliking. It's just one more attempt to make yourself appear a victim, deflecting blame onto someone else, instead of choosing to fix your problems. For the record, you have no valid points. There remains nothing you can say but "I'm sorry, I screwed up" and nothing you can do but actively fix it, that will repair your standing.
  4. No I'm not him matter of fact Detroit Mike meet me at the comic con in Novi Michigan and I have others to back me up Kimik, MCMILES, Bob Storms know I'm not Russ. I guess your wrong on that point "AS A matter of fact"..."matter of fact" is lazy hick talk. "met" "you're" Spelling is our FRIEND. And how can someone be wrong when they're laying down odds? (hint: they can't.) Is that the best you can do? Come on you can do better than that. I just proved to you that I'm not Russ and you insult me because I screwed up in grammar I give up you are the king. The best I can do? Yeah, that's pretty much the most appropriate response to your post there is, so yes. You haven't proven anything. You offered testimony on your own behalf, which has yet to be verified independently. And insult you? You think educating you on proper spelling and grammar is an insult...? Really? Your poor teachers.
  5. My bad I'm sorry Rock please forgive me You're forgiven. This time.

  7. Anyone wanna lay down odds on 8Mile being CS and/or his wife?
  8. I told you how to fix things, but you responded with a flippant "I don't need your help" attitude. I tell you once again: go make things right. Stop responding to the angry comments of others with hostile comments of your own. Be humble. Apologize, whether you think you owe it or not. Show some contrition....over a long period of time. And fix each and every single outstanding issue BEFORE trying to sell again. I guarantee you, there is not a single person who can argue against the above advice. None. And I didn't invent it...I merely pass it along. If you continue to doubt the wisdom of my advice, you will continue to wonder why things won't work. Oh, and please control BellaDonna.
  9. oh, now, living in LA, that just HURTS.
  10. I should mention, none of these books was pressed...
  11. (And hey, at least it's the pretty tough to find chromium version...)
  12. My very first Byrne X-Men 9.8...though, I should have pressed my #117 that got a 9.6. Doubtless, the recipient has. Sigh. And...my earliest 9.8 self-sub so far...
  13. I hope the split was amicable. I wonder who got Bucky? Oh right...he's dead...
  14. This is actually a very tough book to get in 9.8..only 12 on the census: Oh gosh, ho hum, another NM #98 in 9.8...that makes 8 for 8.... A book I bought as "mint" from "Land of Nevawuz" in 1991 for $7. I'll take it.
  15. What, no comments on my chintzy Copper 9.8s? Fine. I'll just post more. (thumbs u
  16. What I meant is I am sure that is a yellow haired girl in the bottom right corner. She has on lipstick. That part was a joke. There would no more be a gay couple on the cover of a Marvel comic in 1970 than there would be a mixed race couple on the cover of a DC comic in 1950. It was just the "in" hairstyle at the time, thanks to Mia Farrow.
  17. The message is over the top: "If you get yourself an education, woman, you will never find a man who will marry you...and that's every girl's dream, after all. You don't want to be ALONE, do you??"
  18. Wow. I can imagine the outrage if that were published today.... Talk about hitting you over the head. They should have just put HINT...HINT!!!! on the cover. But that gay couple in the bottom right is sweet...how progressive of Marvel...
  19. Hmmm....if MM #25 is ever published, all those CGC labels will be wrong....
