  1. Hi Tim - I enjoyed working the show with you even if you did make me carry thousands of pounds of comics. I thought the life of a comic dealer was all glamour?
  2. The Rocky Mountain Comic Convention took place last month in Denver, and I thought I would post some of my pictures. Nice venue, good turnout, and lots of golden age books. Enjoy! RTS Unlimited Harley Yee Graham Crackers Comic Books
  3. Iconic cover and you purchased a beautiful copy!
  4. Completely agree. I attended the Rocky Mountain convention last year - my first convention in years - and I was pleasantly surprised with quality and quantity of golden age material. This year, I'm helping a friend with his booth (RTS Unlimited). @batman_fan, stop by and say hello!
  5. Nice book - let me know if you ever get tired of owning this one...
  6. I love that you have an entire box dedicated to your copies of X-Men #1! Great pictures of the comic room - keep them coming!
  7. Kids in bondage? Snake assault? Poison candy bars? Ok, that's enough Internet for me today.
  8. Obviously not a comic book but some nice comic art. I've been looking for a high grade example of this target for a long time and finally found one last month!
  9. I'm looking forward to more photos of your comic book room and your latest comic book acquisitions. This thread is how I originally found the CGC boards and rekindled my passion for old comic books. I hope your move goes well!
  10. Based on that cool Kayo sign and all of those intriguing boxes in the background, if you ever have a garage sale, I will be there.
  11. If this set of books represents ONE day of acquisitions, I can't imagine what your entire collection looks like!
  12. Conan #1 and X-Men #94 were my grail books back in the 1980s - very cool that you were able to track down your original copy!
  13. This is the first EC comic I've ever owned (and I've been collecting comic books since the early 1980s). When it arrived, I felt that long-familiar collecting feeling: Must. Have. More.
  14. Great thread - love seeing everyone's 2018 treasures! After a multi-year breather from the comic book hobby, I reignited the comic collecting fires in 2018 with some EC, Disney, and Jungle books:
  15. After reading this thread, I realize that I desperately need to add some Animals Comics to my collection. Here's an original page from Pogo #7. Lots of original linework still visible under the inks. Enjoy!
  16. Ward's artwork simply defies gravity. Great examples!
  17. Hi Bob, This is a rare one. I have a Katzenjammer Kids from the same series and there is also a Mickey Mouse imprint and a Buck Rogers imprint that I have only seen on Hakes.
  18. Paste Pot Pete's Predecessor? Try saying that 5 times fast...
  19. Hi Robot Man, Add me to the long list of admirers for your collection of comic memorabilia! I see that you have an eye for quality comic pinbacks - allow me to shamelessly plug my comic pinback website (www.pinbacks.com) where I have documented almost 1000 comic pinbacks from the 1890s to the 1950s. Let me know if there are any comic pinbacks you need for your collection - I love to buy, sell, and trade these little bits of celluloid, metal, and paper! Thanks...
